Ordered a burger and some fries yesterday using the app which said would take 15 minutes to make that turned into 40 minutes. Checked in on the app using I’m here function and also went to the front counter to identify myself and check in there as well. Several people walked in and placed there order at the counter and received their food before me. There also a lot more people that placed online orders that got theirs before me as well and they had multiple burgers and fries with their order. I asked one of the employees what was going on and he couldn’t give me an answer. The people online I can understand that they may have placed their order before me but you still have to check in as they make the food fresh. The ones that I didn’t understand were the walk in customers. Will not return to this location because of the poor service. It was also weird that I order the large fries and they only filled the cup. Never known five guys to do that at other locations as the amount of fries they give you is part of their trademark.

Burger and fries were decent, but not the best. The portion size for the regular fries was more like a small, extremely disappointing. I would have received a much better meal at Red Robin for less money.

Mediocre at best. Fast food quality food at double the price compared to other burger chains. Food tasted mediocre. BOTH fountain drink machines were not functioning properly. The Coke Zero products were missing sweetener. One machine I get but both shows management doesn’t care.

Great place for burgers. Make the burger your way with what you want on it. They cut fresh potatoes everyday to make the frys, they are excellent. Service is on point. Atmosphere is like a old diner. Prices not bad for what you get.

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries. Place was clean including restrooms. It was our first time there so we didn’t know what to expect.

Would leave a ZERO star if I could. The slowest restaurant and worst customer service anywhere in Crystal Lake.

This is all my fault… when you walk into a place on Saturday night and its as empty as this place was, that should have been my sign! A single with ketchup only, a double with everything, 2 reg french fries and a coke. Hold on to all loose items folks… ALMOST $$37.00$$ are you kidding??? I should have called the law… I was just robbed. The thickness of my double didn’t equal to single with cheese at Wendy’s. 6 months ago when I went in and the same meal was almost $28.00 I felt like that was wrong. Then when you put in your card the machine asks if you want to tip them…. WHAT???? like they are doing anything different than McDonald’s, burger king or Wendy’s has been doing for 50 years. Not to mention I get my own dang drink. Heck hands full I even open the door to let myself out. No wonder Five Guys is closing. 1 star because the fries are good.
