Five Guys at Arlington Virginia. This location is just like any other Five Guys out there. The Five Guys is located in a shopping center. There is free parking and the parking is right next to the fast food restaurant. Our visit was Tuesday July 4,2023.

Five Guys (in general) is very pricey for a burger, but it’s still a good burger. Putting aside generalizations for the chain, this specific location is incredibly clean and has some of the nicest staff I’ve been served with. They were patient while I decided what to put on my burger, made sure I was adequately serve and didn’t need anything else, and when there was downtime, they clean very thoroughly. I don’t ever call in to compliment or complain about things, but I made it a point to call in and let the owner or manager know how professional the employees were.

This was my first time trying Five Guys and I was absolutely tickled by the fact that they supply their customers with free peanuts to eat while waiting for their food. I had always wanted to try Five Guys fries (I literally went just for the fries) and boy did it live up to the hype! It is now my favourite place to get fries, and I love how there’s so many fries just sitting at the bottom of the bag, not in the full container.

They’re open later than Chick-fil-A which helps remind me their food is better than Chick-fil-A’s. They got the kind of tables that make me wish this was a cafe too cause I just wanna hang out and do work here.

Everybody was saying that at Five Guys you Peter will taste delicious burgers. Well guys its not that way at all. First half of the burger was insipid, without taste. Just meat and bread. No salt, no pepper. Just at the second half it got some taste and could be finished by me. A lot of fries and we didnt even finished them. Also not so fast served as it should be at a fast food. But thats only my humble opinion about 1 try. Maybe next try will be much better.

The staff were pleasant. They serve a LOT. The hamburger was ok. I thought my burger was overall expensive.

I didn’t get the burger the way I asked. I paid $22 and I asked for tomatoes, lettuce and onions. But the guy forgot my tomatoes. Then I realized then I told the guy and he said do want the tomatoes. I already ate the whole burger. I didn’t go to McDonald’s I went to Five Guys. I was not happy the guy probably didn’t understood English.

I remember when they just had that small storefront in Arlington. Best fast food burgers around. Fries send them over the top. When you go there suggest you ask them not to press the burgers down on the grill when cooking. Squashing the burgers down Cooks the meat faster but turns them into hockey pucks. That is my only complaint. They only really started smashing the burgers down after their expansion and no longer had one of the brothers doing quality control.

there were way too many people inside! snapped these two photos over the 20 minutes i was standing outside, and noticed around 30 people at any time inside the small restaurant, including staff. social distancing could not be maintained with so many people waiting for food. when i asked the girl at the register what the allowable capacity was, she didn’t speak english well enough to answer. i asked to speak with the manager, but she just laughed. i noticed no 6ft stickers in the waiting area and people were leaning on the counter, waiting for the orders, and blocking others. the staff did nothing to encourage people to wait outside or to socially distance. their food is great, but their restaurant is unsafe.
