Terrific seafood and good service. My branzino with asparagus was perfectly cooked. The skin was lightly fried and crispy with no fishy taste whatsoever–always my fear since being served fish with skin-on at other places that tasted like catfood. We bought a basket of fries for the table that were about the best I’ve ever had–crispy on the outside and very creamy within. My friends had oysters from the raw bar and said all the varieties they selected were equally good. They also ordered beautifully executed fish tacos. I rated this restaurant a 5 based on quality of food and service but with the caveat that the old-diner ambience isn’t equally outstanding–stained and battle-scared concrete floors, extremely noisy to the point where you can barely carry on a conversation, booths really too small for more than two people. But if these kinds of drawbacks don’t bother you, you won’t be disappointed. Just bliss out on the food. We did.

Came here for a weekday lunch. I made a reservation on Yelp but actually you won’t need reservations on weekdays. The restaurant is just 40% occupied. We ordered 3 items this time: 1. Clam Chowder, 2. Seafood Basket, and 3. Lobster Rolls. You must try this top three items if you’ve never tried them yet! The clam chowder is so creamy and full of seafood flavor. Seafood Basket is really fresh and we can taste all the sweet natural aroma of the clams mussels and lobster. They are very generous on my lobster roll. It is seasonal price. Today mine was $36. Not bad for the price. The fries are thick and fresh. Service was awesome. The server came several times to change the bowl where we put the shells. Atmosphere is comfortable but kind of too simple! Oh forgot to mention about parking. You can either park on the street or a nearby parking structure. They do not validate parking ticket. Overall this is a cute hidden gem you must give it a try! Good luck!

Hands down my favorite seafood restaurant in Pasadena! You must get the Kumamoto Oysters and Peruvian Scallops! The lobster roll will beat out any in LA and their fish & chips are pretty bomb too! Do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant!

This place is nice. The seafood is fresh. We ordered the seafood combo, chef’s choice oysters, fish taco, and the Branzino. Taste great. Only complaint is the mussels and clams a little over cook and not much flavor. Otherwise everything is really good.

This is the place to go if youre craving something fresh to eat. Sat at the bar. Food came out very quickly. Temaki Handroll flight was delicious- Loved the salmon, Maryland bluecrab second, amber jack was just ehhhh. Fried oyster deviled eggs really caught our eye but thought it was mediocre. It’s true that the fries are great. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I love all of the food items we’ve tried here. Deviled eggs with fried mussels is so unique and delicious. The wine and sake selection is good, but not amazing. We’ve found things we like, but they used to have the best rosé that was super crisp and perfect for their food. But I highly recommend this place. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

It was a perfect day for the family to dine out, so we made the drive to Pasadena. We were running late for our 2 pm reservation so we just opted for the public parking a block away. Called to let them know regarding the parking situation and they were kind enough to hold our reservation.

Don’t let them seat you outside. They’ll forget to assign a server to your table and leave you there for half an hour. You may as well wait for an inside table where at least you can flag someone down.
