Came out for opening weekend. They’ve done a great job. The menu is fantastic. The drinks are delicious. The service was good. For the first week or so I would highly recommend making reservations just to make it easier on their team to serve you best. The seasoning on the green beans was amazing. It came with onions and carrots as well which was a nice surprise. We ordered plenty of food to taste a little of everything. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely every dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection with flavor and freshness.. so great. I love the diverse menu, best pot stickers and Mongolian beef I have ever had and the tuna tower appetizer was fantastic. The szechwan sea bass was absolutely perfect, nothing over or under cooked. I am impressed and will most certainly be back!

So this review should be taken in the context that this was on day 2 of them being open, so I’m sure kinks are still getting worked out. Overall I had a good experience, I live nearby and have been very excited for this place to open.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Fisherman Jack’s during its soft opening. As fans of China City, we were excited to try out this new establishment. The restaurant’s design is quite captivating, with many seats offering views facing the marina. The menu presentation in the form of dim sum style, where you mark your selections and they arrive in bamboo carriers, is a charming touch.

This is a very special restaurant. I was invited to the soft opening and was blown away by the design of the restaurant. The owner’s wife is quite excellent at creating a space that is contemporary and inviting at the same time. The servers were well dressed and very well educated on the menu. I am especially impressed by the unique variety of drinks, they are apecial, as well as the dim sum menu. The soup dumplings are my absolute favorite and rival Din Tai Fung’s. My second favorite thing was the lobster wontons. The lobster flavor relieved shined which I feel doesn’t often do. Otherwise I feel the rest of the menu is better than average Chinese food. This is going to be a very successful restaurant with their attention to detail, the wonderful wait staff, the flavorful menu and the amazing view which they have taken full advantage of. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant is ridiculously good. Everything we had from drinks, to appetizers, to main courses was exceptional. The service was fantastic too. I 100% do recommend a reservation, though as they are booked and everyone in the bar is vying for a spot. I can’t wait to go back.

We ate there tonight for the grand opening. Lovely decor, nice marina view, exotic fun cocktails, delicious food, excellent service, reasonably priced. For a new restaurant they hit it right in all categories. 10 out of 10!

Great location. Right by the marina, perfect summer spot. Food was ok. We ordered 7 or 8 things off the dim sum menu. Chicken lettuce wraps were ok. The celery was the strongest flavor and distracts from all the other flavors. Broccoli and bok choy were both coated in a garlic sauce that was a bit slimy (corn starch?). Soup dumplings were decent, but not far off the frozen ones you can get at Trader Joe’s. The pan fried pork bao and spicy wontons were yummy. Pot stickers were served luke warm.
