Excellent Food. Excited to return to Seattle just to visit this little hole in the wall. Note to new patrons: it is located in a school. You must order online or on the phone and call them when you arrive at their location. It is absolutely worth it, though. Highly Recommend.

Today (30Jun2023)was the first time I ordered from FishBox. I placed my order with a young lady outside and was waiting for my food. She said it would be 15 minutes. Well, 15 minutes came and left and still no food. Just as I was about to give up, a man came out to my car. He was so apologetic for the wait he not only gave me what I ordered he gave me a shrimp order too and a desert. I don’t eat a lot, so I have food for at least 3 days. The food was really good too. I love that tartar sauce, it should be bottled and sold in stores. This will be my every other Friday place. Thank you. Again, the food is really good, seasoned well.

Omg so delicious. I’ve tried catfish before, but it was always just meh, this is catfish. The catfish here is freaking amazing. It actually tastes like good food. They have an unconventional setup/location – takeout or delivery only. Their tartar sauce is unique and amazing. Everything they make is pretty much perfect.

The catfish was cooked perfectly and the seasoned even better. The shrimp was the same. The food was freshly cooked and the crinkle fries were hot. The special tartar sauce was a great blend of ingredients. Fishbox is the best fried seafood I’ve had.

Super friendly staff and the owner was very personable. We enjoyed the sampler,hush puppies and shrimp box. Everything was fresh and crispy. Cheesecake was so fye! I almost forgot, that sauce was everything and more too! Wish I could’ve brought it back to Nashville.

Been on a mission to find the best Fish & Chips in Seattle and I think I found the place! This is a true hidden gem! Look, the pick up process is a little confusing, and I had to double check a few times if I was in front of the right building. But man….the food is phenomenal.

I had recently heard about The Fish Box and decided to visit on a recent Friday. I ordered online and went to pick it up. The storefront is located down some stairs on East Spruce between 20th and 21st for those who may have trouble locating the place. The catfish I ordered was really good. The catfish came in nuggets and they were lightly breaded and full of flavor. Like they say, their marinade got rid of any possible muddy flavor. The catfish came with a good amount of fries and a couple hush puppies rounding out a great meal at a really nice price. I hope to return soon!
