Very solid counter service spot. We had the grilled Salmon and it was excellent – everything was hot and cooked well. This is a Mexican-inspired menu, so fresh salsa bar (excellent – especially the green salsa) and fresh/hot bottomless tortilla chips with every meal. Lots of tacos available, etc.. Good food and good value – I’ll be going back for sure.

Nice little place. You order at the counter when you walk in and then grab a seat and they bring it out to you. I ordered the 2 fillet fish basket that comes with seasoned fries and slaw and I also ordered a small ceviche because I wanted to try theirs. The ceviche was served with seasoned tortilla chips which were pretty good. They have a salsa bar so I got some type of salsa that went well with the seasoned chips. The ceviche seemed real fresh and light with cucumbers. The small portion was about $7 but it was a good sized portion. The fish basket was about $9 and had two good sized fillets.Not exactly southern style fried fish, it had a fine grained breading that reminded me of something I had in Mexico once, but I really liked it. Good flavor and crispy breading and very light white fish inside. The seasoned fries were really good with it and the slaw was good too. It was definitely enough for one person. I did not need that plus the ceviche and took one fillet home, but I wanted to sample more than one thing for my first time in there. The guy at the counter was nice and helpful. I was definitely pleased and will return.

Excellent food and great customer service. Definitely would recommend for those who want a place that offers high quality grilled and/or fried fish and shrimp at moderate prices. I have not tried their ‘turf’ selection yet but if it is as good their seafood, I’ve got no doubt I’ll enjoy that as well.

I was out with a friend today when we decided to give this place a shot for lunch as neither of us had been there before. What a mistake….I will start off saying we will not be going back and will not recommend this place to anyone but steer them clear of this place…You will get better everything at a fast food place such as McDonald’s or Wendy’s than here. When we walked in you order and pay and then seat yourself…The cashier (also the server) was not friendly at all..and when we didn’t put a tip in the jar at the register, looked offended. I have never tipped for services or in this case lack there of first. We went and chose a booth and waited for our food. We were the only guests at this time. When our food arrived a man and wife and 2 children walked in and chose a table in the middle. Mind you total time we were there at least 30 minutes. After we received our food, Maggie the server just walked away…didn’t ask if everything looked okay or if we needed anything else…But in the time we were there she went to the table (the only other guests at the time) 3 different times to ask if everything was okay or if they needed anything…and then offered assistance 2 times when they went to the salsa bar….The food is mediocre at best..the fish could have been cooked just a little longer. The chips and fries were so heavily seasoned that you could not taste the salsa on the chips and the fries were so hot I couldn’t finish mine. I would have at least liked the offer of a to-go box if I had wanted to take the fish home…but again lack there of service and was never offered one….But the most audacious thing that server could have done was when we were about to leave….she came over, picked up the baskets, and then proceeded to pick up my friends Smart Phone and asked if that was her tip…she laughed and handed it back but then, yes you guessed it, actually had the nerve to ask for her tip……My friend is the more polite one and he explained that a tip is what you get for the service you receive…when you don’t receive service a guest doesn’t tip for something they never got….I recommend to everyone to choose somewhere else for lunch and do not waste your time or money.

I have eaten here a dozen times and it has always been great food with polite and friendly service. All businesses have one off’s; it’s not good to judge anything by one visit. And I love that it’s something different than Mexican or Pizza ! 🙂

the food was great. the only problem I have is with the owner that was taking our order. I presented a 15 percent off coupon. she never gave us the receipt for our order. she said she threw it away. she printed out another one and I noticed she only gave us 10 percent off. now I know why this place is hurting for customers. I will never go back here again.
