This is a good little lunch spot. It’s not big inside but it does have great bar seats with the tvs! Matthew was our several and was working the bar area by himself. Although it took a while to get our food he was doing the best he could to take care of everyone. We had the cod fish, shrimp, fries and the beef pie. Both were okay, just very greasy! However the seafood was very fresh! We loved the atmosphere and we would definitely recommend and we will visit again.

Heard an interview with the owner of Fish and Chips Houston on the Michael Berry Show.. tried it today and it was AMAZING. Never have I EVER dipped Chips (fries) in gravy. Now I’ll never want to dip them in anything else. I ordered the Fish N Chips. The fish was YUGE and the batter complimented my fish perfectly. My wife ordered the Steak Pie.. the steak was like a homemade pot roast inside the perfect crust. The flavor of the steak brought a tear to my eye literally as it tasted exactly like the roasts my Mom and Grammy made growing up. Finished it off with the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the menu describes it as “life changing” and they didn’t lie. It was absolutely HEAVENLY. The staff too was just awesome. We will definitely be returning

We went in yesterday, Friday evening. This place was packed, but we were seated quickly. They had bar seating as well as table seating inside and outside the restaurant. The food here is so delicious! We started with the chips and curry sauce, then I had the haddock (my favorite) and husband and kids had the cod and steak pie. All were so flavorful and the portions are huge! We were full, but decided to order the sticky toffee pudding, and it was heavenly. We ordered one more to go.

Great fish n chips. I love the crispy batter on the Haddock and the fresh cut French fries. The server was also very friendly and attentive. This is my new favorite spot in the Houston Area for fish n chips!

Dined in with our Irish friend who said it was spot on authentic. We all agreed the chips (fries) were delicious. Both cod and haddock are nice flaky portions, though I prefer the haddock personally. Also enjoyed the curry pie, though wished the portion was bigger or came with a veggie. Sticky toffee Pudding is seriously tasty and served warm with cream to pour on top.

We visited the Sunday before Memorial Day. Food was absolutely delicious! The owners stopped by table side to talk to us. Service was friendly. We had the lunch cod & chips and the haggis, neeps & tatties served with a whiskey cream sauce. Food was spot on. We definitely will be back. Cheers!

The fish and chips is fantastic, crispy battered thick flakey filets with chunky fresh fries aka chips. Served with malt vinegar, spicy tarter and ketchup. The portions are large, we got two lunch specials 1/2 the dinner size and couldn’t eat it all. We had a voice of haddock or cod so we got one of each, both excellent but I prefer the cod slightly more. I don’t know if I’ll ever try anything else on the menu the fish was that good. Great sports bar atmosphere, tables around a center bar. On cooler night id love to eat on the patio. My favorite fish n chips place in the US right now!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here with my mother and grandmother who are all from the Uk, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I could sense the authentic atmosphere that is so characteristic of British pubs.
