This was an amazing lunch and it’s not their fault that half the waterfront wanted to eat there and the kitchen is small therefore it takes pretty close to 45 minutes to get your meal. Having said that EVERYTHING was excellent and hot! The food was really good the halibut was wow! And the clam chowder had a great taste.

Super small place with a bunch of fried food. The halibut and chips were great and my husband liked the calamari. The service was top notch. They were very busy and the small crew kept it going even while running out of everything which was impressive.

It took about 25-30 min to get the food but it was very busy, so understandable. Their cod fish and chips were soooo good and clam chowder was a bomb too. I’d just pass their coleslaw lol way better than the one next to them. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, we ordered the jumbo prawn basket and chowder bread bowl, would’ve gone in for 2nds but the line was too long. We were there 5 minutes before opening and there was already a line. Only downside is if you are trying to eat there it gets very crowded very fast.

Perfect fish and chips place. Portions are very generous, plenty for a couple to share a basket. Or try the Lil Matey and get a taste of the fish and chowder. The fish taco was excellent.

I’m a local business owner and get no joy in criticizing fellow businesses in the hospitality/food arena. However, the owner of this establishment needs to stop and reexamine their product. We visited Bandon seeking clam chowder & fish n chips. Having a couple options we decided to choose this place. The calamari was nothing but over fried tiny crisps of batter, that kept you hoping to find some tender calamari. It was obvious they were being skimpy on the quality, size of cuts and lazily over frying. The moment the clam chowder hit my tongue, I thought of dried/powdered milk. It also lacked any substance whatsoever. The fish n chips was atrocious. I swear it was the same thing you’d get in a box of frozen fish Van de Camps in the frozen section of the store. I’m well traveled, had the best fish n chips in New Zealand and even some amazing fish n chips on the lower Oregon coast elsewhere in places like Gold Beach and Brookings. But this place hands down served a horrible product. I dare the owner to sit down publicly and eat what we had. If the owner thinks that’s fresh, quality and great presentation, then they’ve fooled themselves and gotten overly comfortable w/uninformed and inexperienced tourists. I hope the locals know better because this place really needs to reevaluate itself.

Was not what I was expecting at all. I was hoping for less better and less grease. I ordered the Lingou cod.

Wonky Wonderful
We stopped in today for lunch. Between the three of us we tried the clam chowder, fish n chips and the salmon sandwich. It was all wonderful! I wish the chowder was thicker but that’s more a personal preference, the flavor was perfect. The service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go again.

Great spot for Clam Chowder. Didn’t try any other item as I was looking for a chowder at the time. It’s a small and quaint place that offers a great view of the bay. The place didn’t disappoint and the Clam Chowder especially was delicious. I’ll be back to try other items on their menu.

The service was the best! The gentleman at the counter was kind and professional. He actually cared. (Rare these days)
