This is probably my FAVORITE breakfast place. The pancakes are big and fluffy without being overly sweet, and I love their turkey sausage gravy. It tastes very homemade, especially on top of their biscuits! While we typically carry out or order online, we’ve always had excellent service the few times we’ve dined in.

My friend is obsessed with First Watch. We indulged her and decided to join her for brunch there one day. We went to the newest Kentuckiana location on a Sunday. Full disclosure, I should have put our names in on the virtual wait list. It would have helped expedite our visit. We were quoted a 25 minute wait, but it ended up being longer. We got worried we were forgotten. Thankfully we weren’t. But we know what to do for next time. When we did get seated, I got a coffee which was flavorful with great hazelnut creamers on the table. My friends got the seasonal drinks which were quite frankly gorgeous. We got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cinnamon roll as a snack to share. It was heavenly! For brunch we all got something different. My friend got the vegetarian sandwich, which she found hearty and flavorful. My friend who was jonesing for First Watch got the vegetarian eggs Benedict which was tasty. I got the Floridian French Toast with Grits. It was very yummy and I really appreciated it. I wish time wise this visit had been more efficient, our wait time was different than anticipated and our cinnamon roll actually came at the end of our visit. We will have to give this spot another try.
