I am traveling for a few days and staying in town. I discovered this restaurant and had dinner here. Service was top notch, food was excellent, and a very quiet atmosphere. Thanks, Aimee for a job well done.

The service was great and the food is amazing. I had a grouper Ruben, and it was crispy and delicious. I am so happy that I found this gem in this cute town. ❤️ Thank you Kathleen!

Ate here on a Sunday evening in Keosaqua where there are not a lot of other options. We got to the restaurant about 5 PM and were the only customers at that. A few others came in later but was never very busy on an August Sunday evening. The waitress doubled as the bartender and server and did a good job. Some of the menu items were out of stock, but that is not unusual in COVID years. We had a party of 3 and got the Reuben sandwich, chicken strips, and a small pizza. The food was tasty but took a little time to get served. It isn’t a fast food place but if you are in a hurry, Keosaqua is not your place to be anyway.

We had fun with our waitress. She played right along and turned out to be a better smart @ss than me. Food was good and the sandwiches we ordered were stacked up with meat. Fair prices for the portions served. I’d definitely go back. Needs better air conditioning for the really hot days.

Okay, the waitress was nice and we had good service…the bruschetta chicken was not topped with home made bruschetta. It was some kind of mild salsa(probably pace) the chicken was cooked well, it had a nice flavor and was juicy, but if you say bruschetta it needs to be bruschetta! Now, the burger and the cheese curds were very good! I recommend the cowboy burger! And for anyone who is interested: easy Bruschetta recipe

Awesome food, great atmosphere, downtown Keosauqua, Iowa, only sad thing is, it’s closed on Sunday, but the food and the service is excellent. Reasonably priced, with huge cups of coffee!!

We were there with another couple on 12/5. We were the only customers at that time. Our waitress was very friendly and funny. Let 2 grown women color Thanksgiving pictures and hung them up. The food was reasonably priced and good. Thanks so much. We’ll return during riding season.

This is the best food I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. I’ve been from New York to California & this is the best! The Texas toothpicks & ham steak are must tries. Burgers are amazing & the kids’ menu is also really good, especially for my picky eater. The waitress was beyond nice & I’ll make the hour drive to come back often!
