I was sooo glad that I noticed the sign on the highway for this spot!!! The food was delicious and the people were very friendly and welcoming!!! Wish I lived closer this would be a regular spot for me…. Thank you for the delicious Curry Goat!!!

I found this place quite by accident. I ordered oxtail and curry goat both with peas, rice and cabbage. The portion sizes were very generous and the prices were reasonable. The young lady who took my order was courteous and knowledgeable. As with any real island restaurant some items were already sold out. I found the taste of the food average and toned down from more authentic Jamaican cooking; however, this is what I expected because Wilkensburg (Pittsburgh) is not known as a Caribbean hotbed. Full disclosure: my family background is Trinidadian which is a very different kind of cooking from this restaurant; nevertheless, I enjoyed my food and will gladly return in the very near future to try other menu items.

Amazing food and owners! You never have to worry about getting enough food. Good quality food too! Sometimes there’s a wait but trust me it’s worth it! Meat nice and seasoned as well as cabbage. Everything could stand alone but even better together! Highly recommend!

Y’all. I’m still here eating right now. This is the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve ever had. I had the oxtail and my friends had the jerk chicken and brother when I tell you, we bussed it down. So gooodd 10/10

My husband and I tried this restaurant today for the first time and we were very displeased with the bland taste of food. We had large portions of food but there weren’t any seasonings and all the meats were served with a heavy dark sauce/gravy and it all taste the same!!! I strongly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant!!

When we arrived the restaurant had sold out of most of the menu items. Luckily the cook did still have a few items my wife and son were interested in. I had gotten the curried chicken and my wife and son both had gotten the ox tails, all had sides of rice and beans and cabbage. Those two sides were good.

I haven’t had a bad experience there. I absolutely enjoy their food. I tried something new today as I usually get the jerk chicken or the curry. Those weren’t ready yet so I opted for the stewee chicken and it was delish. The sauce married well with the chicken that was so tender that if fell off the bone.

I’ve driven past this place a hundred times and finally decided to stop in. I got the jerk chicken with rice, beans, and cabbage. It was delicious!!!! Not only that, but I was stuffed for $13. That doesn’t happen too often anymore.
