The food here is AMAZING. Bread is top notch and the sandwiches are satisfying and filling. Meats are super tasty even on their own. Plus, eating here supports firefighters. Good food for a good cause- why NOT eat here? Plus the food is very reasonably priced especially for what you get.

With the closing of the Woodbury location we tried the Maplewood location twice in the last month. This last time we were totally ignored while standing in front of the register. The employee was counting cash and did not even acknowledge us while chatting with the two other staff. After five minutes of this, we walked out. Our service was poor on the first visit, but this time there was no service. We will try another location next time because we do like the food. We never had service like this in Woodbury!

Best sub I have ever had in my life. I don’t know what they put on the Italian, but I am drooling thinking about it now. The bread was fresh, the flavors complex and delicious.

I normally don’t write bad reviews, but my sister and I came here and there was only one person working. They were extremely behind and they did apologize. This is nothing on their behalf, but we waited over an HOUR for our food. We felt too bad for the poor person to leave so we stayed. They were locking the door preventing anyone from coming in and leaving, and once help finally arrived I swear it took even longer because the two were arguing and being disrespectful towards each other. I never want to come back to this location again. I’ve never had Firehouse subs before yesterday, and honestly I can go without it if this is how it is. The first employee went on a whole break while being backed up knowing the other wouldn’t be able to catch up on his own. They were nice enough to give us our sandwiches for free, but we shouldn’t have waited over an hour for TWO SANDWICHES, and the doors shouldn’t be getting locked during hours. Don’t be open if you don’t have enough staff, that was honestly the worst experience at a food place I’ve ever had.

At least the food here is great even though the employees attitudes that work here is a joke.

After I found out the Woodbury location was closed, I drove another 20 min to this location. I walked in and had a very welcoming greeting and some jokes! Very friendly staff! Great food! The Manger on duty was training someone and from what I can tell was doing a fantastic job, you can tell everyone is part of a team there!

Nobody in line and was told it would be 20-25 minute wait for a sandwich. Happened on multiple occasions. They don’t seem to value customers physically going there to spend money so I’m not going back. I’ve been to other firehouse sub locations and they’re nothing like this one. You can go practically anywhere else and waste less time.

Food is exceptional. Unfortunately the service is absolutely horrible.

First time ever trying the subs. Went in around 1230. Complete chaos with online orders not going thru and being out of ingredients for some subs was ok, but it took 35 min for 2 subs. Listen, I run a restaurant, and I understand, but sitting with my 10 and 6 yr old waiting and listening to the banter and swearing from employees was not acceptable. Even took the kids outside to enjoy the weather and get out of the atmosphere going on. Was there Thursday 4/13 at noonish. I’m not from around there but will never be back to that location.

Really strange how the Firehouse Sub locations are hit and miss on which ones are gonna be open or closed. We tried the one in Maplewood only because the one in Woodbury is closed. At 3:30 in the afternoon, on a Saturday, we waited 25 minutes for our two subs, my sandwich was NOT the way I ordered it and our phone number for our rewards, didn’t work. The employees were friendly enough. It was just really strange that we had to wait so long for our two subs. The Firehouse subs in the twin cities have really gone downhill.
