I have never been a sub eater but we were in that center getting my new glasses and decided to go there as we were so hungry. We ordered one large sub and OMG, it was fabulous. Fully loaded and we were both plenty full. I think we had the Turkey club sub and it really was delicious. Cool atmosphere, pleasant staff and love the pickle barrels which I now have two. A very nice experience!

Awesome subs, best place for lunch at Wards Corner, within driving distance from Norfolk Naval base and downtown. Layout is wonderful, restoom is clean. The soda machine is great. Another thing, kids under 12 eats free “every” Tuesday. Subs are simply awesome and prices are reasonable. Can be busy.

1st time at a Firehouse Subs and was not disappointed!!! Got a small 4″ Smokehouse Brisket & cheddar to-go for a late lunch (close to dinner time, but I was starving). The line up of hot sauces is amazing, I can’t eat spicy food so the numbers on the bottles really helps! Staff was super friendly and quick turn around on food. Mentioned I liked pickles and they gave me extra!
