While I absolutely love Firehouse Subs this location at Virginia Center Parkway is not open anymore even though google still says it is. If you go to this restaurant there is a sign on the window that says they are permanently closed.

Decided to try this location again after being angry about my last visit a few weeks ago. Ordered a large brisket and cheese sandwich, with a side order of mac and cheese, and got home only to realize that the sandwich barely had any bbq sauce on it at all (which is the standard included ingredient), and just a thin layer of mayonnaise. The mac and cheese doesn’t taste like cheese at all. It’s some weird white sauce that I can’t quite describe. After being a patron of the white oak / S. laburnum location for so long, I cannot express how badly I am disappointed. This was one of my favorite restaurant chains, but now, I’ll just have to move on to another sandwich shop.

I had a great experience, always my subs came out as expected, like the wheat bread with chicken. Cleanly maintained.

Mannnnnn, honestly, probably… and most likely… the wettest sub I have ever had. Was shockingly wet. What I think a sub from Kevin Costners 1995 hit movie “waterworld” would have been like, if there was more water. Sub was SOOOOOOO WET MAN. Ew. Workers were great. But the subs just; so dang wet

Placed an order on Sunday night via mobile app. Processed fine and received order confirmation. Drove down to pick it up, and my wife is abruptly told they are closed and they didn’t get order, then slam door in her face. Google & website clearly show store is open until 9. If you don’t want to care, then just close the business down. This is outright theft. Will follow up with BBB complaint as well.

I have been here twice and the service was unsatisfactory. The first time we waited over 20 minutes to order. The sandwiches were good. The second time I ordered online and arrived 5 minutes after the pick up time. I still waited an additional 30 minutes for my sandwiches while the staff was talking to someone on speakerphone.

Whatever the previous order was, it was smeared all of the boxes our food was in. Both of them looked like the picture posted. I can’t recommend that anyone should go here. I know I will not be going back anytime soon (if at all).

2 crew members working 1 didnt make a sub the 45 mins. wewaited for our order. Order was incorrect as well as 2 other orders we saw come before ours. Avoid this place at all cost. Better places to eat with better attitudes and more focused on customers and not on being on the phone. One sub place off my list of places to eat. I have read the reply maybe it’s time to get corporate to come in the store and not tell the private owner. If you look at all the bad reviews it seems private owner does not help . I will Never NEVER return to Firehouse

Branden is an outstanding employee! I was greeted on arrival, order was taken promptly and repeated to me for accuracy, options were offered, and a free drink survey was also conveyed to me; and the food was made correctly. This store has really turned around since they hired Branden, it’s running smoother than ever before. Corporate had better take notice of this excellent young man!
