When we arrived at the store it was not apparent to me where you were supposed to go to start making your sandwich. The environment was cool because of the firefighter equipment they had on display but I did notice a lot of their tables had not been cleaned. The employees were not exactly warm but they were not rude either. We did have to wait 30 minutes for our two medium sandwiches. I had the turkey, bacon, and ranch. My sandwich was good the meat probably being the best part of the sandwich but the sauce was not really there; to explain further it tasted more like I was eating a turkey bacon with Mayo rather than ranch and I did not really start tasting the veggies till I made it toward the middle of the sandwich. My fiancé had the firehouse steak and cheese. He did request that they changed the cheese on his sandwich to cheddar which they somehow forgot to put on his sandwich all together. My fiancé did like the flavors but had kind of the same problem I did with it which was the sauce he said there was too much Mayo on the sandwich. When it came down too it we were waiting to long on the food to sit down at the restaurant and eat together and do the review so we ended up doing it on the go.

I came in on Wednesday. I made a mistake of thinking I could solo trip my kids to the zoo and then lunch. I got in the restaurant with three tired hungry tornadoes pretending to be children. There was a sweet lady running the register she was beyond patient with me, and honestly deserves a raise for how awesome she was. I don’t tend to write reviews, but I wanted to make sure that everyone who even thinks about going to firehouse knows that Karen up there is legit. From one tired appreciative dad thanks.

I placed a pickup order at 6:25 and it gave me a 10-20 min prep time. When I arrived, I told the young man at the counter that I was there for my order whenever it was ready. He said they hadn’t started on it yet. I saw they were pretty busy with 3rd party orders so I didn’t approach the “Pickup Online Orders” area until around 6:55p.

The staff was very friendly. Been here a few times and they really skimp out on the amount of meet you get. Probably get more meet on an average sandwich at subway for the price. Last time giving this location a shot.

The sandwiches are awesome and the atmosphere is pretty nice it has that firehouse vibe but it’s honestly a little over priced. 25 dollars for two very small basic sandwich combos. I know we have inflation and a recession but man lower the price a bit and you get 5 stars.

Went over here for the first time on Superbowl Sunday to get a sub for a few people. I got the Italian, it was delicious. I was surprised because I thought it’s just a sandwich..it was above my expectations and I can say they have great quality. I’ll definitely be back and I recommend going. It was around 3 pm when I went and it was very busy but the staff was kind and everyone’s order seemed to be moving right along. Thank you.

The meatball sub is the best meatball sub in Wichita. Makes a certain well known sandwich place look pathetic. Meatballs, marinara and Italian seasonings. I always add the sautéed peppers and onions and it tastes so fresh. The marinara is fresh. The mac and cheese is simple yet tasty. Maybe a little more salt. I also got a large drink- and they have the make your own flavored Coca Cola freestyle machine. Little pricey, for some more than others, but you get the quality you pay for. The Large sub is definitely large and stacked. I got pickup and it was waiting for me in 10 minutes even with the later lunch rush- about 1330. Plus they have new take out paper bags that hold the large subs better and it’s recyclable since it’s paper.

Store was very clean, was welcomed at the door, and the staff made my difficult sandwich perfect. DoorDash messed up the order(the usual) so I just told the staff what I wanted and they made it fast and accurate. Specifically the older gentleman working was very helpful. 10/10 would go again.

Made the food wrong plus over charged me I gave the lady 18 dollars and she stated I only gave her 13 after I watched her count wrong and demanded me to pay an extra $5 typically I like firehouse but will never return to this location again
