I normally love firehouse, but the last 2 visits have been absurd. Food not made how its supposed to be per menu. Hot sandwiches that were handed to us cold, missing pickles for every sandwich. And if you ask for aju like I do because the steak and cheese is usually bland dry. You will now be told they don’t offer it at this location, all because they can’t train the managers the correct way to do things. When I called and talk to a manager the offered to remake my order to numous missed step by nightshift. When i arrived I was told by the lady in the mask the were no long doing aju after this.That it was something she offered to her customers. When my remade food was complete I asked about the aju and was told no. The whole reason for the call to initially complain about their night shift what’s so stuff could be taken care of and people could be told hey this is how you’re supposed to make it but instead they say oh it’s not on our menu we’re not going to do it anymore because they can’t train their people they can’t show somebody the correct way. This whole experience has made it where I might be going to a different shop for my subs. One that actually cares about their customers.

We LOVED firehouse, but the customer service and rewards system has gone down hill. I called 24 hrs in advance to order a deluxe party tray and use my rewards points (we have done it twice before). When my wife called she was assured that we could use the points. When she got there to pick up the tray the lady in the mask was no help. She refused to give my wife a solution. If that tray isn’t an option for rewards then they need to remove it and make sure their employees don’t guarantee it. We spend so much money at firehouse, it’s just so sad when a location goes downhill.

I have been to FireHouse subs a handful of times now. Each time, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Since my last visit in September of last year (last because I saw a cockroach crawl out from the cooking station and next to where you line up in front of the register), but nothing has changed!! The servers are overly rude and impatient every single time; there is one server that will scream in the middle of a busy lobby (?), and watching them cooking is like watching eggs being scrambled! There’s seems to be no semblance of organization, the food is WAY over priced, and almost always done wrong!! Not to mention it takes a good 20 minutes or longer to be served. If I could put half of a star or even a zero star rating on this Fire House Subs location, I would have done. Go to a Subway, y’all…. you’ll save time, money, a headache, and at least get decent food!

I think it’s time to retire this place. Last time I went a worker sliced his finger open and still had to come take my order because they were under staffed. The place is dirty and the service is slow. I’m just not coming here anymore. Needs to go before the cockroaches affect the other businesses around them.

Shout out to Rodney and his team that was working on 6/6 at 7:30pm. I moved to Pottsboro from Frisco yesterday. I don’t know anyone or any place here. Matter of fact I didn’t even know about Firehouse Subs menu as I had only been to one years ago. I was driving around from my visit at Target looking to grab dinner. I’m so glad I went in. Rodney was so pleasant and he explained the menu to me as a “newbie” . I’m going to order catering in the near future and go out of my way to eat at this location because of the exceptional service.
