TLDR: very unpleasant experience; to be fair this is not how I am used to being treated here. Anyways, the manager (not the guy I’m used to seeing) was surprisingly unfriendly. I asked for a pair of utensils to go with my order and was told if I needed utensils for my order they would be in there and promptly turned her back to me. I get i had a sandwich and dessert, nothing specifically requiring them but if an order has been paid for, i dont understand the logic in this. Thank you for helping me save any money I would have otherwise spent here to give to somewhere I actually feel welcome. And I get that it was unusual, but to not allow the customer utensils if they want them and refuse/not even offer to even let me buy utensils to use is beyond ridiculous. What did I do that was so egregious an error as to be refused what seems to me to be a simple request?

Haven’t eaten here in a looong time because I’m never on this side of town but had lunch today. I sure have missed the hook n ladder sub & it was still delish!! I’d love to try something different but it’s my fave! Was greeted upon entering, everyone was friendly & the dining room was clean. Looked like they had a great system behind the counter.

UPDATE Sub quality suddenly changed, changing review from 5 to 4. They have the best subs ever! The steak & cheese is great and the club on a sub are delicious!! The staff are friendly! I highly recommend using the app to order ahead-pick a time and it’s ready on the “Online orders” shelf near the cash register – super convenient!
