There was a time where I was very dissatisfied with my purchases at this restaurant. I am vegan and for some reason they never seem to make the sandwich the way I asked. So I decided to save my receipts with the exact items and amount that I wanted on my vegetable sub sandwich. Since doing that it comes out perfect every time and I do appreciate the staff there. I also think it makes it easier on the cashier if you can just hand them a list of what you want versus doing it verbally and there may be things missed in transition.

First, I have to say, the people (staff) are great, every time, hands down. The company I can’t support anymore. It’s not a huge deal that they stopped offering their plethora of hot sauces which was to me their signature selling point, stating COVID is STILL the reason, but now they’re asking for you to tip their staff. When I see a company asking you to pay (tip) their employees’ wages and they’re not anything close to waiters or bartenders, it’s a red flag that it’s a company that’s probably shouldn’t be supported because they likely don’t want to pay their employees fairly, and are passing the buck onto you. I may be wrong about that completely though so take that as you will.

They are really rude and slow at this location. Every time I go in to pick up an order, I see at least 5 people behind the counter and not 1 person ever acknowledges me there. Shouldn’t they greet customers? At least ask if you’ve been helped. Who runs this location? I’m turning down every order I get for this location due to this. Sad

Usually Firehouse is amazing but lately it seems you just don’t get what you pay for. I got the large steamer and it was lacking. Bread was dry and hard, and it seemed like they forgot the corned beef. The meat is usually preportioned so you always get the same great sandwich. Not today! Somebody dropped the ball! This quality seems to be trending almost everywhere. I’m giving the rest of this to the dog.

I do have a suggestion at the end, but this was my first time at Firehouse subs, and I’d have to say that it was fire . The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, informative, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was not a run of the mill sub shop and was unique in it’s combination and flavor. I took the rest of my sub home, and it tasted just as good, cold, the next day. They use better quality ingredients, and I ended up buying one of their in house sauces. The store front could use a small renovation, maybe get some better, classier tables. Granted, this would change the feeling, but the higher quality of the food should be reflected in the establishment.

Service was good. Friendly staff. Environment is cool for little ones. Food takes significantly longer than other Chain sandwich shops, so it makes lunch breaks challenging. Food quality is far better than Subway. Overall, 4/5.

Firehouse is one of my favorite sandwich shops. I ALWAYS get the Turkey Bacon Ranch — the Turkey is thinly sliced and juicy and the peppercorn ranch gives the perfect zing to the sandwich. I ordered it to go yesterday and they it was ready super fast to pick up.

I placed a web order for pickup on Tuesday. I get there no greeting but the lady who walked in before me gets greeted and next guy after me walks in gets greeted. The lady at the counter walks to lady who walked in before me to find out her order, which is a pickup order. This lady ignores me. I have to walk up the counter ask for my order. I find out it’s still being worked on. They are busy and dining area is full. The wait is no issue but being ignored is. The other lady waiting for her order gets walked to by the counter lady and asked about her order, then handed to her in a bag with a handle. I get my named yelked out 20 minutes later to fetch my food laying on the counter. The difference between me and the other lady is I’m darker. I did not want to think that is the issue but why else was I ignored. I lived in Lake Worth my whole life in fact my family started a restaurant there. I know customer service, and food service, and I know when I am getting treated less than others. I don’t appreciate that experience. I will not be back.
