Firehouse Subs was an okay, first experience. I wasn’t too thrilled about their subs. Bread was too crispy. The turkey was okay. Maybe we came at night? I prefer fresh, softer bread. I am not sure if it is common here. My pieces were falling out and weren’t as packed well together.

A step above Subway, but not a very big step. I had a brisket sandwich, and it was fine. Relatively fast service. Vast beverage selection from a high tech machine.

The sandwiches are fresh BUT they are always missing items whether you order for delivery or order and do pick up. So we opted to start picking up our orders and I cannot remember the last time I didn’t have to remind them to put the chips in the bag or to not forget the cookies but i only notice when toppings are messed up after I open the sandwich.

I travelled all the way from Long Island to this Hackensack store to do the T-Mobile deal, turns out they are no longer participating in the deal as of 2023 and it should have been notified in the fine print and website but there is lackluster information, and the Palisades location says non of the New Jersey stores are participating. (Granted I saw Airport Locations excluded anyways).

My wife and I drove 15 to use our T-Mobile Tuesday coupons today. We parked and as I approached the store I saw signs that said they don’t participate with T-Mobile Tuesday. Wasted our time and we drove home. I have used the T-Mobile coupon last time it was available at this location without any issues. Would’ve been nice if T-Mobile or firehouse subs gave us some warning that they can stop participating whenever they want. Seems like this store just doesn’t want want to deal with the influx of customers? No reason was given so it was frustrating.

I had the worst experience at this location today. They refused my order. The manager is dishonest and does not care about his customers. I had points on the app and when I order it he refused it. What is the point of having the app and point system. I wish I could give zero stars.

I came in to the store with a 1/2 hour until closing order the simple multi cold cut sandwich I even made a comment to the employee that I was sorry I came in towards closing. They laughed and told me it was no problem at all. When I left the store and got home unwrapped the sandwich it was a brick it was uneatable. The bread was so stale you couldn’t bite into it. But I should have known not to go to one of these fast food deli’s and go support a local mom and pop deli.
Not Your Business
This was my second time coming to this location, staff is alright (not particularly nice, but aren’t mean either) both times I was here the soda was watered down and at first I thought maybe that one was getting low. Nope, all three drinks we got were watered down. We saw the guy behind the counter watching the employee like a hawk while he weighed everything, then we got our subs and realized they skimped on everything. Had like five bits of mushroom across my entire sub. So that and the soda thing really makes it look like they skimp on everything and frankly for me personally, I rather go to another location because this is the only one I’ve been to that seems to be skimping on stuff. I rather go spend the same amount at a different location and actually get what I paid for ya know?
