Literally ordered meat cheese and mayo on my sub and they forgot the cheese… also asked for no pickle and guess what?! I got a pickle! Didn’t get cheese but they did give me a pickle. Why bother asking if you’re just going to do it either way? However thankfully I can drive back and waste more gas to get a mediocre sub remade. I get they were busy but I ordered the simplest thing ever and they couldn’t do it. Also when I called Lee ( the manager) offered to remake it which was nice but also not an I’m sorry or anything. How hard can it be to read?? Apparently it’s very hard. Overall just a very annoying experience, also as the manager it’s your job to at least pretend to care about the customers.

A little bit smaller on the inside than I expected. But it is clean and the food is good. Fire house is my favorite place these days to get a hot sub. The cookies are good too! there’s just something about this particular store that I always forget that it’s there for some reason.

Today a friend and I went to get dinner and we decided to come to firehouse well it started off great was greeted at the door nicely with a welcome to firehouse by a young gentleman. I placed my order and a friend of some of the workers came in and a couple of them started talking to him which is fine you know it’s always nice to acknowledge your friends but costumers started piling in and they were still talking it took about 25 minutes for our sandwiches to get out and when they did one was wrong for some reason it included jalapeños and banana peppers which definitely wasn’t asked for it would have been fine if the some of the workers were messing around when you have a job that pays you to work you should work. It’s nice to have fun and all but when people see this it’s just frustrating. Coming from someone who has experience working at firehouse. This behavior was not acceptable at the one I worked at.

I come here regularly because the food is so good. I would give it a 5 if it wasn’t for the rude staff. I wouldn’t even use “greet” as to the experience I always tend to have with the blonde girl who works there. Walked in today and she didn’t even look up once at me to ring up my order. (As always when she is working) She was very rude and aggressive when I asked her to repeat what she had said (because she was mumbling) and when my food was ready she threw it at me across the counter and walked back into the kitchen. Will not be coming to this location again unless this girl is dealt with accordingly. It’s not a good look for the business.

The new Fire House Subs in the Durbin Pavillion is really nice. This location is apparently the new prototype of what potentially all new Firehouse Subs will look like. This layout has a nice clean look, and there is no longer the long counter that is present in regular Firehouse Subs location. As soon as you walk in, you immediately see the ordering counter with a large menu above it. I definitely think this layout is an improvement over the current design (not that they current layout is bad). As is usual with Firehouse, the food and service is great. I personally prefer hot sandwiched and subs, so Firehouse is one of my favorite places to go when I want a sandwich. I highly recommend the New York Steamer or the Hook and Ladder. Don’t forget to try the Datil Pepper sauce too. If you have a chance and are in the area and are a fan of Fire House Subs, be sure to visit this new location!

My 5 yr old says, “Best Sandwich Ever!” We come each Sun after church and always enjoy the Hook & Ladder and NY Steamer. The staff is always pleasant.

Went in for lunch, ordered combo’s in, but wait in line took a long time. The cashier was taking phone orders. She then took my order. Sat down and there was two people waiting for their Order. Making sandwiches isn’t hard. We had to ask for them to bag it. Couldn’t stay to eat. No one was cleaning tables. I was going to clean our table, but no napkins available. Since the sale of Firehouse the service has dropped significantly. I didn’t even get a “Welcome to Firehouse “.

I’ve been a fan of Firehouse Subs since they opened their first location in Jacksonville on San Jose Blvd. The Engineer has always been my go to sandwich until my husband introduced me to the Hook & Ladder. Ingredients is always fresh high-quality and delicious.

This is an excellent model of how all Firehouse Subs should be. Employees are very friendly and quick, the building is clean and modern, they have a new generation Coke Freestyle machine, the food is delicious and tastes very fresh. My wife went to school with the CEO’s family and so we know they are great people and always give back to the local community and high school sports! We live like 20 feet away so we will definitely be back!
