The owner came to our office for catering and did a fantastic job! She brought everything necessary to set up a buffet with sandwiches, chips, pickles, etc. Her attention to detail was appreciated, as she remembered napkins, plates, mustard and mayo. She was prompt with delivery. Thank you for making our staff meeting worry-free.

When I arrived, there was one group of four sitting at a table, snacking on chips and sipping on their drinks. They had already ordered and were waiting for their sandwich. One other person was leaning on the high top by the window waiting for a carry out order. I walked past the customer waiting on their carry out, right up to the order counter. I made it all the way without a shout of their warm greeting (Welcome to Firehouse!) that I’ve become accustomed to. There was no one in line. The employee behind the register looked up from her phone and begrudgingly left the counter she was leaning on to take my order. She was friendly during our interaction. After I paid, I picked out a bag of chips from the limited selection (compared to what they have had in the past) and filled my drink cup. None of the tables had been wiped clean, so I chose the least repulsive table and took my seat. After 5 minutes of being seated, the customer waiting for take out finally had his food. After another 5, the group of four had their food. Five minutes after that my name was called. I went to the counter and was given a box covered in remnants of sandwich makings and water droplets. I sighed and went and sat down. I open the box and a perfect pickle slice awaited me. After I consumed the pickle, I carefully peeled back the wrapper to reveal a non toasted sandwich. There was no warning or notice of them not toasting their sandwich’s anymore. If I had known, I would have chosen a different option for my dinner. I have made the decision to never go back. Not only to this location, but all of firehouse has forever lost my business. Here I come YellowSub!

I was very disappointed in the customer service. I was just one of two people in the house and I had to wait for about twenty minutes for two sandwiches. There were at least 6 or 7 employees behind counter and they seemed more interested in filling a huge outside order. I was given no reason for the delay. Very poor customer service

Well, if you have plenty of time to wait and wait and wait for your food. We ordered simple sandwiches and gave us the wrong ones three times. Also, they forgot our soup and cucumbers.

If I could give it zero stars I would, I normally would never even complain but we had the worst experience today. We ran 15 min late to pick up our online order, when we arrived the order wasn’t ready. When asking about how much longer it would be the MANAGER said tell them it will be ready when it’s ready. We live 30 min away and my wife and kids were in town for an apointment and were bringing me lunch once they got back in town. Needless to say after 45 minutes they left with no lunch and our card being charged. I called said manager once I got off and she continued to argue saying she didn’t say that and she would rewind the cameras. This place got me all the way fd up we will never go back.

Don’t bother. They prioritize online orders over walk ins. Took them 20 minutes to finally get me a meatball sub. It’s literally five meatballs and two pieces of cheese on bread. Shouldn’t take more than a few seconds to make. They started telling people who walked in behind me that it would be a 20 minute wait and most turned around and left. Which I would have left too. Having said that, my sandwich was good. Just a ridiculous business practice to turn away walk in customers in favor of online orders.

Absolutely awful. A month ago there was hair in my sandwich. I called up there and they said they would refund my purchase . I waited a month and always got an excuse as to why it was not refunded . I drove from Topeka to Lawrence to get it straightened out. The owner offered me a free sandwich due to all the issues. I waited an hour and a half for them to mess up my sandwich twice. Long story short I did not get a full refund and I did not get my sandwich.Horrible customer service and horrible employees

I have never seen anything like what I saw tonight at Firehouse Subs. I was the only customer in the store. An employee standing at the register where orders are taken had his back turned towards me and was on his smart phone. I stood there for 30 seconds and the employee never acknowledged that I was there. When I complained to another employee sweeping, the one at the cash register made the smart remark that it was one less sandwich he had to make. When I said I would take up with the manager, a person sitting in the back looked our way but never got up to see what was going on. I assume she was the manager. Normally I am greeted the minute I walk in and have had great service. Employees have been polite and respectful. Tonight was a totally different experience to which totally shocked me. Now it makes sense why I was the only one in there. Minutes later I went to subway with 4 people standing in line. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and immediately took my order.
