Been a while since I have been to Firehouse. My Cajun Chicken sandwich was great, and refreshingly spicy. So frequently disappointed in restaurants that offer “spicy” which is disappointed. Not here. Love that fact they they truly give back to First Responders and document their contributions.

Unprofessional staff with delivery drivers, they ask them to finish their order such as prepare the drinks of the customers and pack the chips. They actually have to be the ones responsible for that, delivery drivers are only responsible for the “delivery” not the preparation of the food.

I got to Firehouse on Bandera & 1604 only to realize I didn’t have my wallet. I called my wife to have her call the order in and pay over the phone. They couldn’t accept over the phone payments. The manager on duty, I really wish I had gotten his name, was willing to let me have the sandwiches without payment as long as I brought the payment the next day. It wasn’t necessary… my wife sent me her card information and I paid manually. Special thanks to the manager and a very friendly staff. Oh, and the sandwiches were awesome too!

Amazing service. I’ve been going here for years and have never once had a problem with the restaurant. The service and food has always been incredible and they are willing to go the extra mile to make your order and your experience perfect. I work at home a lot due to the pandemic, and order a lot of delivery when I don’t have time to cook something or go out to eat. I am always skeptical about ordering hot sandwiches with meats and condiments because usually by the time the delivery driver gets to my house, the bread is soggy. I called this Firehouse and asked if it would be possible for a cold Italian to be made since there wasn’t an option like that on UberEats. The person who picked up the phone said to go ahead and place the order, and call back to confirm it, and they could make it cold for me. The norm for other restaurants is to tell customers if the option isn’t on the app, then it cannot be done, but this Firehouse as said before has exceptional service. Cannot recommend this place enough.
