Food was alright. Waited more than 30min after my online order was to be ready. When I arrived they said it wasn’t ready yet and that is the last I heard from them. Multiple people waiting. I finally went up and asked again, they reached around and picked it up off the back counter. Probably been sitting for 20min. Definitely wouldn’t go back here.

I had a great sandwich on my last visit. I wanted to try something different, so i asked the server for a recommendation. She recommended the jerk chicken. It was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and try out that sandwich at the degaulle location.

Update: Love this sub but the last 4 times the sandwich has been cold! This is not how I had served at first. Major let down.

Placed my order for pickup of 2 subs (nothing complicated) at 12:52p. Confirmation had order ready for 1:10p. I arrived at 1:05p, and proceeded to watch at least five people come in and order at the cash register and have their orders ready before mine. At about 1:15p. I asked them what the status was of my order and they said they were working on it. However, they still didn’t finish the order until 1:30p. Mind you, they were not busy, or understaffed. I see no reason why I should take almost 40 minutes to make two sandwiches.

I’m originally from New York and grew up eating pastrami sandwiches and I have to say that pastrami sandwich I just had was the best since I’ve been back to New York I enjoyed that so much. And also that was my first time trying firehouse subs. It was great !

Came in to get 2 sandwiches to go, no other customers were inside. In fact, we thought it was closed because every chair was already placed upside down on the tables (good thing we weren’t dining in? They had about an hour and a half until closing time still). No one said anything when we walked in and we said hi and checked on closing time since it was July 4th. It was still over an hour until closing and there were 3 employees inside. I asked when they closed to be sure we weren’t going to be those end of the night annoying customers holding them up since they were already cleaning and it seemed like they were already picking up for the night. One was sweeping the floors around us while we waited and the other two were behind the counter having a good time chatting and joking around. When I ordered I had a small meatball sub/sm cup of chili and added 4 toppings to the sandwich. Husband ordered his sandwich and we proceeded to wait. The two joked and horsed around a little and then proceeded to make the sandwiches while the other employee swept around us. They finished and she handed me the bag, I smiled and said thank you, and she just looked at me and handed me the bag. Ok…I guess she’s not the friendliest. Not one word to my husband or I since we got there from anyone. We got home and I had a piece of bread, 2 meatballs, and some sauce. No toppings whatsoever. Not one other order the entire time we were there from anyone. No other pickups from customers. No phones ringing. How hard is it to get a small sandwich order right? Too busy playing with the friend behind the counter? Just didn’t care to do the job? It definitely wasn’t worth the cost. At least the sandwich was warm…and the place was clean.

Very unprofessional. I shouldn’t have to argue with staff for a refund. Called to place an order and was told my food would be ready in 5 min. Not sure if this place takes phone orders, but the young lady took my order as if they do. I took longer than 5 mins to arrive just to give them time because I know they get busy from my first time being there. Which is why I called to place the order. Arrived expecting to pay for my order and go, but that wasn’t what happened. Walked to the register and gave my name and a young lady allowed me to pay for what I ordered over the phone from the receipt. My order came up to $18.92. I handed over a $20 bill and was given $1.08 in change. I thought the young lady would turn around and hand me my phone order, but she walked away and said that it wasn’t ready. When she said that, I asked for a refund which shouldn’t have been that hard to do. The food wasn’t ready and I had just paid. The young lady refused to give me my money. She the proceeded to say that I didn’t give her $20. Even though I did and she had the receipt. It even went as far as her trying to physically put her hands on me. I expected good service because my first experience wasn’t bad, but this time only made me realize that this type of service comes with minimum wage workers.
