Found this small joint in New Jersey, that you do not wanna miss. It’s a Open-pit Portuguese Barbecue Restaurant! You can smell the delicious food grilling from blocks away. First and foremost this is the Shrimp and Garlic Sauce Appetizer….Wow what a blast of flavor you get from this dish! Don’t forget to ask for some bread so you finish the shrimps you can scrape the rest of the sauce with the bread so delicious! Parmesan Garlic Fries was our delicious side dish that was a perfect fit with pretty much with anything we ordered with. Nothing could go wrong with Parmesan fries alone, now add garlic x2 even better. The Portuguese Barbecue Pork Chops were super tender, juicy and flavorful with a garlicky sauce. The garlic sauce with the taste of the meat was too delicious that it had us over eating.

I use to love this place… but I’m not sure what’s going on…service was horrible…MY family and I sat in a empty restaurant and didn’t even be acknowledged by any waitress till we called for 1…then the restaurant got packed and waitress was attending other tables and we was still waiting to be asked even what we wanted to drink….then they bring us 2 rolls sliced in 4 for 5 people ….then we waited over 1 hour for our food mean while people who came in after us was served ate and ready to leave and we was still waiting…then when we finally decided to leave and tell the waitress then they bring out our food…. service was super horrible never going there again…sad we use to love this place!!

Food is not the best not the worse ether in Kearny but all I can say is if you can’t deliver the food to a person house in 30 to hour. Then just please stop doing deliveries your only losing customers like this. Took almost two hours and half for my food to get delivered to my house not even a mile away. Because of that I’ll never order from here again.

Food is good but the dining experience is not good at all.. The place could definitely work like a take out place because the dinning in staff is not welcoming.. First very little informative, second the waiter that was taking care of us acted like he didn’t even care about tables. And to my surprise when I get the check they had automatically add an 18 percent gratuity which was not well earn at all, that service was maybe a 10 being considered… But the fact that these waiters know they getting 18% regardless of the kind of service they provide I’m 100% sure they don’t even care…. Today was the 3rd time I visited that establishment and definitely the last..
