We had a delicious lunch. I had the Shrimp melt with plenty of large juicy shrimp and grilled peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with some melted cheddar jack. I asked for light cheese. The bun was toasted and freshly soft. The sandwich was served with the best tarter sauce I have ever had. My husband had the special which was broiled grouper. I didn’t get a photo as he dug into the fluffy moist fish so quickly while telling me how wonderful it was. His fish was served with a choice of sides. He chose fries, and rice with black beans which he also said was delicious. I definitely recommend giving Finz a try while you are here. At least stop for the view as their drink menu is excellent.

Great spot right on the water! They have a big pier with plenty of room for boats as well as a couple pumps to grab some fuel while you’re stopping by for some great food! Cool vibe inside with all the local seafood favorites. Drinks are tasty and the service is quick. It’s a perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings while you eat and drink!

Great food, huge portions. Their shrimp and grits are divine. The shrimp stuffer is really good too. Sitting on the deck on a cool, breezy day is the best. The only things I didn’t like was 1) I had to take a call from my daughter who was out of town and didn’t get to eat when the rest of my party did and the owner or manager (male) (seeing I still had a full plate) started asking everyone if they needed boxes, which I thought was rude, and 2) my daughter that was with me took my wallet to go next door to get a swimsuit after she finished eating (about 15 mins before I did) and the server and owner kept hovering over the table asking us to pay the bill. This was the same time I still had a full plate and we never left the table. I eventually told them I was waiting on her to bring me back my wallet and they just kind of stood about 10’ away like they were afraid I was gonna make a run for it. I finally called her and told her to bring me back my wallet (before she’d made her purchase) because they were making me uncomfortable. Once we paid, everything went back to normal and they went about other tasks. We left a decent tip (like 22%), but I really didn’t feel comfortable being watched like a Hawk over a $93 bill. It wasn’t like we were a table full of teenagers. Was not very wheelchair friendly either. Lots of bumps to go over. Definitely not for someone who can’t stand for a few minutes at a time.

Relaxed grill by the water in Beaufort. Great service for us. We sat by the water and watched the boats go by, including one with human power. Food was good and came out quick. A few spots for parking in front of the building, paid spots nearby, street parking available a few blocks inland.

We went 3rd of July so we understood that most places would be busy because of the holiday. We went at 2:00pm and had about 30-min wait. We waited about 40 mins and went to ask and was told it would probably be another 20 minutes. Honestly that was fine because there’s plenty of shops to walk around nearby and a nice breezy spot to wait upstairs. We got seated outside with a great view. We ordered a couple drinks but they were out of coconut rum. When we ordered food our sweet waitress immediately listed off the items they were out of…oysters, flounder, potatoes, and the catch of the day. That pretty much just left shrimp and ahi tuna so we got the tuna appetizer – yum. I got a shrimp wrap and my husband got a fried shrimp “burger”- just fried shrimp on a hamburger bun. The fried shrimp was good and the fries were good. My wrap was interesting because it had shrimp lettuce, tomato and also rice, cheese and black beans and came with a side of chips and salsa. It was pretty bland and didn’t really have any flavor. The Mexican-type flavors didn’t jive with the shrimp. Service was pleasant and quick, and the view was great, just seems they weren’t quite prepared for the holiday crowd.

My Shrimp and Grits were just ok ..She had Flounder and Shrimp which was not good at all ..Both overcooked and absolutely no flavor..1 beer ,1 glass of wine bill 67.00…We don’t mind paying if food is good, this wasn’t even close..We go to Beaufort often …this was our first and last visit there to this restaurant..

Traveling a lot, we go to a lot of different restaurants. This was one of the best meals and services we have had in quite some time. We ordered the shrimp melt, flounder sandwich and a crab cake sandwich. The food came very quick. The sandwiches had excellent flavor and were not dry. Great fries also. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Crab cakes were some of the best I’ve had! Service was great (after the wait for a table). Ate outside and it was a beautiful view of the Beaufort waterfront.

Absolutely horrible. Shrimp and grits came with raw onions and bell peppers dumped in them. And wait for it bacon bits from a jar on top. Inedible. Tortilla chips were stale and chewy. Shrimp boiled in sink water and flavorless. So overpriced for the food. Disappointed.

This is a great restaurant to eat at in Beaufort. It sits right on the sound and it’s so fun to watch the boats go by as you’re enjoying a meal. Our past two visits we’ve also been fortunate enough to see dolphins pass through as we’re eating, and this past visit we could see wild horses on the adjacent island. Such a fun place to eat.
