Have passed by here many times and finally stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted with a “Good Morning” as soon as we stepped in the door a sure hometown vibe. The place is neat and clean with additional seating on a covered pavilion outdoors. Breakfast was the usual diner menu..eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes etc. My omelet was full of very tasty ham and was nice and fluffy my husband got eggs over medium with bacon and hashbrowns. Both of our meals were good and cooked just right, the toast could have been crispier but I find that with a lot of restaurants. Price is comparable to other small towns in our area so not a bad deal for the money.

The restaurant was busy with their lunch rush. I think there was only one server but she was friendly and attentive. Sweet potato fries and waffle fries were perfect. Our sandwiches (steak sandwich and a cheeseburger) were good. They have several different kinds of pie. Strawberry rhubarb was great and tasted like it was homemade.

This is a great place to get out of STL. Right in between STL and St Clair off hwy 30 in Lonedale. The food is great. We had the burger. YUM. I love the potato wedges. Excellent. A must go place. We will be back!!

First time I ate there and it was delicious. The waitress went out of her way to make me happy over my hamburger I don’t like thick burgers so she asked the cook to flatten it up for me. That’s me says everything if they’re willing to satisfy the customer like that the food was delicious they were semi busy and we didn’t wait at all not for our food not for a table we didn’t have to wait for anything. The food was delicious.

First time we had been there.. Service was awesome Introduced themselves by name and where very on it.. didn’t miss anything… Loved they new the regulars by name. The food was delicious.. We got The 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, choice of Sausage or bacon both where amazing and eggs.. We will come again but my husband and I might share a meal next time… We don’t like to waste food. There are many things that sounded good on the menu that we want to try.

This was my second visit here, and I came back for the same dinner I had last time. A huge brwaded and fries pork tenderloin smothered in brown gravy, 2 sides, and some bread for $13. Autumn was our server, and she did a fantastic job.
