We returned to Ellsworth after a long day in Acadia. Everything shuts down early. But Finelli Pizza was open. They closed at 9pm and we popped in about 8:40. They still had some pizza slices to purchase and reheat.

I have to say this is true New York style pizza with extra large slices, and an abundance of types and flavors of pizza. All the pizzas we received were good with fresh ingredients, crispy crust, and overall great taste. I especially like the plain pizza pie because they put extra sauce on top of the cheese.

Second time visiting this week. First experience was great, fast and efficient. My second and last experience not so well since we waited a full hour for our name to be called when order was complete and the whole staff including what I assume to be the owner looked puzzled about it. They didn’t say anything when this was brought to their attention and ignored quite a few customers during my hour of waiting

Ate here for the first time in 4 years or so. I don’t know what happened, but it was much better several years ago. Expensive, and they messed up every menu item. Overcooked eggplant, cheese bread had several pieces that were just plain bread, and the tuna melt was soggy and falling apart. I don’t know what they changed, but this place is very mediocre now. Do not really recommend. There are much better places in town. Was gonna try the pizza later, but the order was so sub-par to the point that I’m not interested.

Really enjoyed the two large new york style pizzas. We have had authentic NY pizza and this absolutely qualified. The crust was just crunchy enough and the texture and flavor was great.

This place is delicious and wallet-friendly! Two very large slices and a beer (or wine) for $11. And the pizza was amazing! I don’t know why there isn’t a line out the door!

If you’re from NJ/NY don’t eat the stuff . It’s not right. I had a meatball parm …. I think , well that’s what it was supposed to be . Canned sauce, meatballs, bread, and cheese from Walmart, slapped it together with nj prices and called it a wrap. Now my stomach hurts from it . I don’t think anyone who left a good comment about how it tast like ny style pizza is from ny or nj . I rather have Dominoes. I wanted to throw it out but didn’t want to waist 15$ for no reason.

Tables were all dirty and the Pizza is sub par at best. Zero toppings, on their “18” pepperoni pizza that was rolled way too thin even for NY pizza. No cheese or flavor in the sauce. Very disappointed. Kids said the chicken parm was only okay as well. Had ordered one dark ale on tap that was tasty according to my son. Oh and the grand daughter had a sprite and it was first 48$ then a correction (after my sun whistles in disbelief of the cost) to $45 even, how is anything that has tax ever even especially with buying a bottle of pop ??

Super fun and relaxing atmosphere. I have gone a few times to try a couple different things. So far the calzones are my favorite. The slices and pies are absolutely delicious and always cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back soon!
