Great sushi spot with excellent service! We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and maki rolls. The servers were attentive and helpful and all the food was delicious. Prices for the maki rolls were also quite reasonable and we got a variety of sushi. Highly recommend this restaurant for a great local sushi option!

If you are looking for reasonably priced sushi with large portions Fin Sushi Bar should be next on your list. Ordered a variety of rolls and cucumber seaweed salad. Many traditional rolls combined with unique speciality rolls. Loved the plantain roll. Service was super attentive and friendly. Found a table without making a reservation which was nice. BYOB was a nice touch. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back.

Prices are fair compared to the portions. Portions are huge compared to other location. BYOB. Great patio. Service great.

Fin is so reliably good. It’s not a fancy sushi place, but it feels nice and clean with good solid dishes. It’s also very vegan/vegetarian- and gluten-free-friendly. They have a nice outdoor patio, as well!

I love the pad Thai , spicy Basil tofu, shiitake egg rolls and all the veggie rolls. Finn sushi has a nice outdoor b.y.o. B patio too. This is a great neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner.

1st visit, at lunch on a Saturday a bit before closing time. Good prices, and nice portions. Unfortunately food was average (had the teriyaki bento, which seemed too sweet & tempura was a little greasy). Didn’t try any nigiri, maki or sashimi so can’t comment on that portion of the menu.

This is a 9 out of 10 for a sushi place. It has the best sushi in Chicago it’s BYOB and there is a great liquor store a few blocks down with sake if you want to stay authentic. The first time there ask the staff for a recommendation I got the “Red Spider” it was amazing. I went back once a week for like 2 months and I live in the suburbs. And the only reason it doesn’t get a 10 is I will be going to Japan and when I do I will re-rate it but for now I will just enjoy. Ps: Enter Sake black dot is a great starter sake:)

If you have Celiac, or are sensitive to gluten don’t order from the “gluten free” portion of the menu- it’s not gluten free. I spent a the majority of my night violently ill from one of the dishes. (And did report it to the restaurant)

Neighborhood gem is a term that gets tossed around but it qualifies. The shitake egg roll is one of the best egg rolls in the city hands down. The rolls were fresh. Snow burn roll was tasty as was the rainbow roll. All very fresh. And not a ton of plastic in the take out dishes (recyclable foil containers with plastic tops). So a step in right direction.

Hate to only give it 3 stars (I’m rounding up) cause the service was quick, the vibe / atmosphere was nice and the prices fair…. but very subpar food.
