The 5th Quarter Tap – located on historic Dixie Highway in downtown Homewood, Illinois, is a lovely, independently owned and operated bar and grill sure to please any fan of sports and their families! The food is outstanding, the servers are a hardworking and helpful delight to get to know, the bar is well stocked, and you’re sure to meet some of Homewood’s finest here. They also have some slot machines, if that’s your thing. This bar is beloved by many of the locals. Definetly stop in to see for yourself why so many local residents become dedicated regulars at this wonderful tap. Heads up! Parking can be a bit dicey. Do not hesitate to park across the street for a moment, to run in and ask the staff there about where it’s ok to park to ensure your night doesn’t end with an avoidable parking ticket!

Visited this establishment after work with friends. The service was phenomenally fast. We had different variations of pizzas all of which, had fresh ingredients and were very tasty. The hot & bbq wings were also delicious!

This pizza was good, but not worth the price. The pizza I ordered crust was all soggy & stuck to the bottom of the box. If this is a known issue why isn’t there some type of barrier to prevent that? I am dissatisfied.

The pizza here took me back to my childhood. It was the freshest and most tastiest pizza in the area. This pizza will have you coming back for more. I’ve bought 2 extra large pepperon’s and a medium sausage because most of my family of 7 loves pepperoni and it was more than enough. The call in was easy and the staff was friendly and pickup was a breeze. I recommend anyone to try this pizza. You can t go wrong.

Met my friends for a catch up on our lives. I have always loved this homewood bar. It’s an institution! The craft beer is tasty and the food is great! What I forgot is how noisy it is. Still a good time! For the record, 5th quarter pizza is the best!

Some of the BEST BURGERS I’ve had in the area. 100% recommended. Made to order, although I thought the tomatoes and onions were A bit thick and took away from the burger (only fix that) it was a great meal.

Absolutely delicious. Thin crust pizzas made with ingredients that are homemade. Toppings are piled high across the whole pie. Wait staff was on the ball and the owner was very cordial.
