My son and daughter in law live near Platteville. When I visit them, this is our go to place to eat. The restaurant is clean. The staff is attentive. Service is prompt. Prices are very reasonable plus they have lunch specials. The margaritas are very good and come in a variety of flavors. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Tonight I’m having a burrito and taco combination. It’s delicious! I chose to get fried ice cream instead of a Margarita tonight and it was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

I was seated right away. I was there around 1:45. The place was not too busy. Knowing exactly what I wanted, which was the burrito special of the day, my order came out very quickly. The server was courteous and prompt. The food was good. I left full! I would only suggest they not bring out so many chips and salsa. The basket was overflowing, and for just one person, it was way too much. I hate to think they would throw all that excess away. It’s easy enough to request more chips and salsa if you run out. I spent just over $10 for an entree and lemonade.

To the absentee owner: your decision to charge me $2 to use a credit card at your establishment is the reason I will never be back. I realize this practice is on the increase, that doesn’t make it right. Either accept credit cards or don’t, but charging a customer to eat at your establishment and use a payment method that you have available is just wrong. Just like having the lights on and the water running and staff, the form of payment you accept is a cost of doing business. Either build it into the cost of your product or don’t accept that form of payment. I’ll assume your desire to collect cash is not to avoid paying your fair share of taxes, and if credit card sales are such a burdensome expense, it should be passed along in the price of your product. The reason a business accepts credit card payment is it should increase the number of customers interested in patronizing that business. Luring people in and then charging them to use it is offensive. Best of luck, and I feel sorry for other patrons who get “mugged” for entering your business.

We have multiple tastey, authentic mexican restaurants in Platteville, but this one is the fastest.

I stayed at hotel down the street. It was a Tuesday night just before close. Service was quick and professional. I am vegetarian and I had a great dish of vegetables on rice covered in cheese. It was great.
