We have been to Fieldstone’s many times over the years. We went 2 Sunday’s ago for dinner with another couple and had 4 orders. 3 meals were very good. I had ordered the baked cod (have had before) and portion of fish was very small like a child’s portion or maybe a little fish sandwich. The sides were normal and greater than the main dinner.

I came for the food but returned (several times) for the dessert. Yes, that’s correct. I have the world’s smallest sweet tooth but the butterscotch bread pudding is the best breading pudding on this planet! The fried Calamari is also excellent. The atmosphere is distinctly local; Rhode Island is the rare state where generation after generation remains in their community, which provides an atmosphere of tradition and comraderie that permeates every place. This vibe is exuded here as it’s locals, and a few transplants like myself, engaging in friendly banter to the backdrop of quaint and convivial atmosphere.

This was a recommendation from the Newport Car Museum. We sat at the bar with great service. I asked for hot sauce for my fries instead of ketchup. My burger of choice was a chili burger cooked to my liking. Sports on the TV’s was great.

Good service, lotsa parking, average quality “pub” food. But an easy access off East Main Road, and an old style barn decor for family or small gatherings. Also has an upstairs venue for larger gatherings. Not a great eatery, but surely a good, local eatery.

Portions were good but the food was bland. The coleslaw was very good and so was the marinara sauce. Chicken tenders and the fries were also good. Lobster roll was large but bland. The stuffy was terrible, it was all bread. Staff was friendly

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time dining at Fieldstones on Sat afternoon Aug 12th! Our waitress, Hannah was delightful as well as very friendly and professional! Our meals were incredibly deeelicious! The Shrimp Teriyaki and the Salmon dinner were both out of this world! We will definitely come back again when we are in the area!

First time visiting today. My niece has been there a few times. Our server sorry I don’t know her name. Short, blonde, ponytail. Food was great. Service was awful. Waitress was rude. Didn’t come back k to check on our meal. Had to ask 3 times for soda refills. My elderly mom wanted to take her burger and coke slaw home. We asked for boxes. She left one. We asked 5 additional times for another box for the coke slaw. She looked at us multiple times and ignored us. My niece said that this server is always rude. My mom was paying. She is on a limited budget. Originally she left a 16 tip 20 percent. But due to the rudeness and the server completely disregarding our very nice requests for a box she changed the tip to 10 dollars. She didn’t even deserve that. The server needs a lesson in how to serve properly. Restaurant was super not busy. Won’t be back!
