Superb food, service and atmosphere. Just wonderful. Fantastic. Highly recommend. Also very good non-alcoholic Utah Mule. Love those options.

I’ve been here a few times, and overall it’s a decent place. With the opening of Fable, apparently their aim is turn this location into a Michelin star restaurant – if so, they have a long way to go (aside from the high pricing). Menu isn’t huge but does vary between seasons. The wedge salad was a variation on the traditional, quite a difference from what you’d get anywhere else. The tomatoes were grainy and poor quality. The most unfortunate part was the dressing – adding bleu cheese chunks to Ranch dressing and calling it Bleu Cheese is a cheap faux pasta. Chicken tasted ok but was dry, the steak smelled great and my wife seemed to like it. The corn/poblano side dish has a nice pepper flavor. Their wine is good, but not $34 a glass good.

The drinks were delicious and refreshing. The bell pepper soup was really good, but the halibut on the halibut sandwich was super dry and hard to eat.

The Oysters and Champagne event was legit! I followed up with bacon wrapped dates and the halibut!

My first time here. Came here for a birthday dinner… Drinks were good. service was alright. when we ordered new drinks it took about 10-15min every time to get the drinks. Never had bacon wrapped dates (appetizer) so I had to try it. I highly recommend! Something I never experienced and I really enjoyed it. Entree for me was horrible I ordered the cut of the day 10oz rib eye. I ordered it a medium rare. when it arrived it Was over cooked. I sent it back and it came back again over cooked! At this point I was like they obviously don’t know how to cook a medium rare so I told them to cancel the order. I didn’t want keep wasting steaks. Then the server comes back and tells me that is how they cook a medium rare ? (Should of took pictures) but if u can’t cook a steak they shouldn’t put it on the menu and ask a customer how would u like it cooked if u can’t cook it the way they like just to tell them this is how we cook it ? I could of went back there and showed them myself what a medium rare should look like. So that was a bummer none of the other entrees sounded appetizing so I didn’t eat. I tried some of my GF prawn pasta was really Bland. Definitely would not come here for dinner again was a really bad 1st and last experience for me. Although it’s a really nice set up for some drinks.

I’ve been to Bookwalter many times and it never disappoints! The service is wonderful, the food is outstanding and the readers cabernet is one of my favorite wines on the planet! Great atmosphere and patio seating too. The ONLY reason why Bookwalter didn’t earn 5 stars is because of the prices. Everything is quite spendy, we dropped $125 on 2 people which is why we don’t visit more often, only special occasions for us now. I will say that the Pizzas are delicious and have a decent price.

First off, your wines and dates are fantastic. The service has always been top notch. The rest of the recent food experience has been mediocre for the price in my grand opinion. Two times ago I ordered the braised short ribs; very fatty and very little meat. This past week, my wife and a guest had the Ribeye; also very substandard for the price. The Fried Chicken was just not great. For dinners and wine over $300.00 for three people, it should be four – five star. We love the ambience, service and wine, but we’ll think twice about ordering food unless the quality picks up.

Awesome bartender, food was good and they had a variety of vegetarian options that tasted awesome and presented well. Drinks were well balanced and tasty. I had the midnight special with mezcal and my gf had the hot buttered rum with coffee as the base.

Good service, great food and drink. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the blistered peppers, wedge salad, wagyu and rib eye steaks and, the piece de resistance, the tokaji dessert wine. The quality of the food was very good – worth the price, which I cannot say very often.

Loved it! We had appetizers for our meal. The bacon wrapped dates were the best I’ve ever had. The charcuterie board was wonderful, and the wagyu steak was perfect.
