We sat down for dinner to celebrate my parents anniversary. We had a seat outside. The ambiance was great with wonderful water views and someone playing music. Our server, Vanessa, was fantastic. She was very attentive and friendly. Her knowledge of the food and drink menu was fantastic. She made great recommendations. Would definitely go back to the restaurant.

I flew from Boston to Long Island as a traveler and blogger to visit this restaurant. We reserved a table for 7:30. Waited half an hour for oysters and soup. Main meal waited until 8:40pm. My stomach was already hurting. Tried raising hand to call the waiters but they pretended not to see. The table next to us they were come in after us but they had already checked out and our food wasn’t ready yet. So we went to the front desk to find them before someone sorted it out for us. We left after a few bites as we had lost our appetite. The manager and waiter came over to apologize and waive the bill of our 3 entrees. We experience being slighted and ignored from here. But the Osyters not bad.

I don’t leave too many reviews but just wanted to pop in and just let yas know how much I enjoyed my lunch there yesterday. The food and drinks were great as well as the ambiance but I wanted to really leave a review for my our server Vanessa. She was consistently friendly and welcoming and had some great suggestions for us. She did her job the whole time with a smile and that’s not something to see too often anymore so I just thought in needed to share this with you guys. Thank you Vanessa for great service. We will definitely be back.

Ron, the Manager, was the first one to greet us and could not have been more engaging or professional. Jules was our server and truly impressed us as a young girl with a true understanding of customer service!! Haven’t been to this place in a while but so happy, we choose this for some drinks and food because it has truly improved exponentially in the last few years. Not sure if it’s under new management or what BUT we were so impressed we will be back thank you Jules and thank you Ron for making us remember Port Jeff again!!

We had such a lovely time at Ferryman’s Grill today. The view is spectacular. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My mom said it was the best Bloody Mary she’s ever had. To top it all off our waitress Vanessa made the whole experience the BEST! She was sweet, personable, and so attentive. If you visit…cross your fingers that Vanessa waits on you 🙂

We had dinner at Ferryman’s Grill last Saturday down Port, and I have to say, what a great dinner and experience it was for all of us! The food was fantastic and everything was just phenomenal. The icing on the cake was our Server Vanessa! Her personality and professionalism shone through her smile from the minute she came to our table! She was helpful in making suggestions for my boyfriend who couldn’t decide what to order. She super-attentive throughout the entire meal and eagerly accommodating! Too bad every restaurant doesn’t have servers like her – she deserves the praise!! ❤️ Can’t wait to come back to Ferryman’s Grill!
