Bright, welcoming environment. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G coffee! Yummy croissants other treats. Friendly staff. Great spot to take a break on 8th Street in downtown Holland.

I love this coffee shop! I visited with a friend for the first time yesterday and it was such an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and kind, the interior design was aesthetically pleasing, and the hot cocoa I had… one of the best I’ve ever had! They also have multiple milk alternatives, which is $1 up charge, but the price seems pretty reasonable (I paid $5.00 for a 12 ounce hot cocoa with oat milk), which was a breath of fresh air because a lot of times I find myself paying $7-8+ on a cup of coffee! I would love to come here again, and I definitely recommend this place for coffee dates!

My husband and I needed a good spot to work remotely while visiting family here in Holland and this has been a perfect fit for us. Two days in a row with good Wi-Fi and great coffee. I loved my iced Matcha Latte and the mocha I had the day before. I like their sustainability with mugs and glasses for patrons who are able to stay and enjoy and compostable straws. Friendly staff and enjoyable spaces to work from.

Ferris has great coffee but seriously needs to work on their customer service. It’s not just one person, it’s almost everyone who has worked there the last 8 years— which shows me it is a training issue. You walk in and immediately feel like a burden just for being there. Ick. No greeting, no “I can help you when you’re ready.” I still always tip because it’s the right thing to do. But this facet alone has caused my family and I to start choosing other places. A coffee shop should feel refreshing, not cold and sterile. Smile, anticipate customer needs, be cheerful. It goes a long way.

My husband got a pourover and it was easily one of the best that we’ve tried in this area so far. My latte was good. The staff is really friendly and there’s a decent amount of seating. Only wish was that the bagged coffee beans were closer to their roasting dates, they were all about a month out from roasting dates. Overall though, it was great coffee, some of the better coffee we’ve had in the area, and we’d come here again!

Not the greatest drip coffee, but the latte was great and the service even better. Check out the latte art

I had never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! I’m a little bit of a coffee connoisseur, and I’d say this is probably my favorite coffee shop I’ve been to. Food and coffee is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush because there’s a line, but it’s worth it!

Ferris will always be one of my favorite places – I used to frequent the Grand Rapids shop so I will always make my way to one when I’m in Michigan. You can’t go wrong here, drip is always solid and the seasonal drinks are great too. Pastries are awesome as well!

Very nice atmosphere for studying, doing some work or simply hanging out with some friends. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Coffee tastes great. No public restroom though!
