Stopped in for breakfast while visiting from Texas. Had biscuits and sausage gravy with the home fries and reindeer sausage. The gravy was a bit on the salty side, which is saying a lot coming from someone who adds salt to everything. However, it was a good experience regardless. I had 2 drinks, and the bartender gladly made them how I wanted for pictures. Thanks!

We were the first customers through the door for breakfast. I am so glad I finally made it in for breakfast. The service was wonderful. The food was amazing! I don’t think that chicken fried steak could of been more tender. It was huge too! I easily got a few meals out of that plus a little extra for a snack. Usually if a chicken fried steak comes with gravy I have had a country gravy with a little bit of sausage, not this time. My gravy was full of sausage and full of flavor! I definitely will be coming back soon for more!

Being from Pennsylvania (about 40 miles south of Philly), I had to taste the cheesesteak! I was not disappointed….it was surprisingly delicious (even with the shredded cheese). The sweet potato fries were amazing as well. If they had brown sugar on them…that would’ve taken them over the top. A few of my coworkers asked about the salt and vinegar fries, so the owner surprised them with a small sample of them and we all we amazed at how delicious they tasted!!! Next time I’ll get the cheesesteak and salt and vinegar fries for sure!! Fenders has a great vibe and perfect dining music Playlist for a relaxed and causual dining experience!

What a delightful surprise. We asked a local where he would go for dinner if he could go anywhere. He said Fenders and it was superb. I had fish tacos and substituted Brussels sprouts for French fries. Everything was very flavorful. The Cole slaw on the tacos was crisp and the sprouts were a seasoned buttery delicacy. We even splurged and had a peanut butter and chocolate cheese cake. The only reason I gave atmosphere four instead of five is because the outside of the building did not draw you in or say come eat here. Terri was our server and she was very colorful with her responses to our multitude of questions. We would definitely eat here again.

Nice laid back beachy atmosphere in Alaska! We sat in the bar. They had a sign out front saying they were short stuffed and apologized for the wait…but we didn’t notice any wait! Waitress was super friendly and spot on for drinks and apps! Food was great, try the salt n vinegar fries! Super good! Great little hang out spot!

Ribeye was great. Salmon was great. Small dollop of mashed potatoes was the only thing I didn’t love (bc I wanted more – ha!) but Denise in the bar is great.

The owner Gabby is absolutely amazing! Not only is she just a ball of positive energy but so sweet and friendly. She made sure that the food was absolutely perfect and her customer service is off the charts. Heather was an amazing server as well. Also the chef came out and personally asked how we would like our barbecue. And by the way it was the best barbecue I have had in Fairbanks all year! Juicy and not dried out under a heat lamp! thank you guys for a great lunch and I can’t wait to come back when you start doing paint night.

We go to fenders to support a small business and a friend. But after the last 2 visits the food is the reason for our future visits.
