Wanted some rice for lunch. Saw this restaurant near a job I was doing. Going into the place makes you think your entering a jail. All boarded up for covid still. Food was great. Good flavor and tasty.

Food taste old, stale, and hard. To top it off too expensive for being old, hard and stale food. All to just have to throw it out. Wonton soup was disgusting. The General Tso chicken was a chew and a half. Even the rice tasted super stale. Unbelievable that 4 people that will eat anything had to throw out food for the first time ever.

Stay away from this place!!! Customer service is the worst. Rude people since the beginning when they’re taking the order over the phone. They’re always right and client is never right. Just ordered take out from them because I was nearby. Ordered orange chicken and it was undercooked. When I called to let them know they claimed that’s how the chicken is cooked and that I was wrong and that without them seeing the chicken they wouldn’t agree or accept responsibility that I needed to bring the chicken back for them to check. Stupid statement on their part. I’m on the customer service business and my client is always right. To make everything worse they said that they’re gonna refund me ONLY the chicken because they were absolutely sure I ate the rice and egg roll but not the chicken from the order ‍♂️. And finally they said didn’t wanted to listen my explanation any more, so without even trying to resolve the situation in a better way they just agreed to refund the money on that part of the order. This idiots don’t care about you… they care more about $11 than getting a client back. They may get somebody sick for God’s sake !!! Make sure you check your food before eating it

Service is disgusting, the place look like a dump and while eating an egg roll I felt something sharp cut my tongue and was still attached to the egg roll. These bottom of the barrel people has put a long string of a metal scratch sponge inside the egg roll.

I have lived in North End for over 40 yes and have ordered take out from Fei Ma many times. Always enjoyed the food.. Last Saturday I ordered my favorite General Tsos chicken, fried rice egg roll, won ton soup. Every dish was terrible! Dried out rubbery chicken, sauce not as good as usual, fried rice just white rice with big chunks onion and skinny sliver of broccoli. Wontons and broth were dark brown and strange tasting.egg roll over cooked and don’t know what kind of meat was used.. It has to be a new chef, food was terrible! Looks like I’ll be trying other neighborhood Chinese restaurants.Too bad it used tone my favorite.

This place has gotten some recent bad reviews but I decided to try it anyhow and the Kung Pao Chicken was as good as I have ever had.
