This place is close to the Capitol and has pretty good food with an expansive beer menu. When I got there it was slow and it took a while for the staff to notice me. When the bar got more busy they became more attentive.

Federal Tap House has the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. I actually like it more than regular pizza. I got the mushroom pizza. It is mouth watering with a thin crispy crust, and it was loaded with mushrooms. I also got the hydro Boston bibb salad and it was also delicious. I’m definitely ordering from here from now on, and I can’t wait to try their other menu items. I highly recommend this restaurant to eat at.

Went with my son on a Friday. It was fairly quiet and we sat at the bar. Huge beer selection and the bartenders were friendly and knew their beers. We had a couple appetizers and some local beers. Try the bacon wrapped Bleu cheese stuffed dates. Those were amazing! Next time I visit Harrisburg we will definitely go back.

Nice downtown location. We had a large group and were well accommodated with excellent and happy service. Food was good, fresh modern pub fare with plenty of vegetarian options. Extensive beer and cider list with over all very reasonable prices.
