Fazzio’s Restuarant is one of my favorite Italian & Steak eateries in Mandeville and on Google Maps and has been for several years now. The owners are involved, nice and professional. The wait staff are above parr for the service industry and the food is always fresh to order. They draw an upscale crowd for the dining room and the bar area as well although you can grab lunch at the bar causally. Would recommend. The wine and adult drink list are 5 stars. I personally like their salads and thr atmosphere because it’s warm lighting, linen style, low noise and clean. Top rated for Mandeville.

Yum! I ordered the chicken parmigiana with angel hair pasta. This dish tasted to me like it could have been an authentic NYC Italian meal, which has been so hard to find outside of the northeast for me. I’m constantly in search of dishes like this. I would give it 10 stars if I could because of how pleased I was with the delicate sauce and the breading and flavors of chicken cutlet. The mozzarella cheese on top was melted to perfection. It was just so good that I also ordered a second chicken parm and a veal parm to go before leaving. The meal looked just like the current photos on the restaurant’s website to me. Here are some pics of the food after we started eating it: a chicken parm and a kids spaghetti and mealballs (I cut up the huge fun meatball when we started eating by the time I snapped the pics)

My meatball was hard and dry, and I only ate 1 out of 2. The red sauce was thin in texture & taste. I was in a large group that was left predominantly to ourselves and not in a good way. Refills were fairly non-existent. I never got a refill of water, and it took about an hour for the food to come out after ordering. It’s not great, but not terrible, but I doubt I return. There are too many other places to eat good Italian in the area.

I told the hostess when I went in I was meeting someone for lunch. I said I would wait close to the door in case he came in. Fifteen minutes later I found out the person I was meeting was already sitting at a table waiting for me. Partly my fault but it would have been nice if someone had checked to see if there was already someone in there. My friend had already told another host that he was waiting for someone.

Sitting outside was perfect on this October evening! The redfish special was perfect but the JimBob shrimp is definitely what I’m getting next time! The crab cakes looked perfect too. Expect to pay a little more for a little more than the usual!

First time at Fazzio’s … about five minutes after being seated by the hostess, she noticed that our waitress had yet to come over to take our drink order, so she came back over and took the order for the waitress. Upon delivering the drinks, the waitress silently set them down and walked away without so much as a hello or an introduction. The waitress later brought bread for the table, again without saying a single word. About half an hour had passed from the time of being seated and our waitress did not acknowledge us one time. Felt very off putting and somewhat demoralizing. After our plates were served, she didn’t come back to check up on us at all. Can’t say if the food was good or not because we were so hungry at the point, it all tasted the same. Once we finished eating, we waited patiently (as the restaurant was quite busy) for the final check-in from the waitress…which never happened. The hostess noticed we were done and came over with a box (thank you). At long last, the waitress brought the check over and that was it. This bad review probably will not impact the amount of traffic Fazzio’s sees, but never have I ever had that horrible a service. So disheartened and disappointed by the whole thing.

Very quaint and laid back. Very nice ambiance. Food was amazing! Great flavor and portion size. Had the Mela Chicken with grilled chicken on a bed of spinach and topped with apples in a butter sauce! You won’t be disappointed!

The entrees were outstanding. I had chicken parm and my wife had the eggplant parm. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly as was the pasta. Only complaint was that thet really need to step up their salad game. A little lettuce and a tomato does not a salad make. Do a real Italian salad with olives,chickpeas,onion, beets,mushrooms, Parmigiano and romano cheeses. Then we’ll be there regularly.
