We decided to try Fava Pot (Egyptian / Mediterranean) food. Very friendly and helpful folks. It was recommended by the owners to try “Eat like an Egyptian, chefs choice”. Wow, everything on the platter was delicious. I will be back again. I do not work to far away do lunch runs for me! This place is laid back. They cater and there is a food truck as well.

The best place to get authentic Egyptian food in the area. The portions are good-sized, but the cost is a bit higher than expected. The Kooshri and sandwich are a must…. Especially for vegetarians.

Delicious food ! The falafel is excellent. Kofta is tender and just perfectly flavored, same for the chicken , both are addictive. Consider sharing, healthy portions .

From the moment you step in, the cozy atmosphere immerses you in Egyptian culture, with its intricate decor and warm ambiance. The food is the true star here, delivering authentic flavors that transport you to the streets of Cairo. What a find! This is my go-to restaurant – carry-out, eat-in or on the lovely patio. Dina is one in a million. The food is exceptional and the ambience – what can I say – I always feel so welcomed, by her or the staff – with a special tea or a simple nibble before the meal comes, in her lovely Falls Church space, decorated with murals of accomplished Egyptians, accompanied by music and smiles. I’ve had carry-out numerous times – espec during pandemic – and admire Dina and her crew for keeping the doors open and staff employed. Falls Church and the DMV are lucky for her presence in our region. Go, eat, enjoy!
