Food was ok at best. The chicken fingers were fairly good, popcorn shrimp were ok. Son got the jumbo shrimp which had a difficult time holding onto the breading. Service was slow and uninterested in doing a great job. It wasn’t really busy, so not sure what happened. Fatz-auce was good, so there’s that. Will definitely not be stopping here on the way back home.

The ribs were good, so was the Calabash Chicken and shrimp. The baked beans didn’t seem like much more that pork n beans out of a can. Order was taken fairly quickly, but seemed like a long time before the salad came out.

Had never been to a Fatz before and I was sold on the hospitality and generous portions. Definitely recommending this restaurant for anyone who likes chicken.

Inspire of some of the more negative reviews, we had a mostly pleasant experience.

Came in with my family over the weekend, food was good, service was great. But unfortunately one of the managers made us feel uneasy. Could definitely tell that she was under the influence of something! Didn’t know y’all hired drug users!! My wife and I generally love coming there, but now we may not be back !

It’s my husbands birthday. My server Ashley was great. The manager tried to make it a better experience. However, we didn’t receive an appetizer (the manager compensated it with a dessert that were still waiting for after 20 minutes) and my ribs were so over cooked I couldn’t pull them apart. So an $80 meal wasn’t worth it and I’m leaving hungry. They need a better kitchen staff and possibly a better back of the house manager. We will not be coming back.

Prime rib was cooked but cold in the center. It was rectangular and tasted like it was plopped out of a bag straight from the fridge. Their fix was to nuke it. Yep. Drink was refilled once and manager was unapologetic and had nothing to say to us about our poor visit. Could have walked over to Waffle House and gotten a MUCH better meal for half the price. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place!

Waited forever to get our food. Steak and potato was cool. Messed up another order and tried to hid the mistake. Been going a lot of years and this was the worse experience. Got money off but that didn’t help a bad meal. Waitress said was backed up in the kitchen. Not my issue.

The service was good after a considerable wait time and the food actually wasn’t to my liking. I had fried fish with calabash popcorn shrimp. It was too greasy and the breading seemed to over power the fish both in texture and in flavor. I didn’t finish my order at the restaurant or for left overs the next day. It ended up getting tossed out. The hostess and waitresses we encountered were very friendly and courteous. I just didn’t like what I ordered. The poppyseed rolls were good, not crazy good, but good.
