Awesome place for old school BBQ. We got Ribs, Wings, Pork, Baked Beans, and Collard Greens. The people were incredibly nice and the price was cheap. The sauces were great. If you like BBQ, you gotta go here.

My experience at Fatty’s BBQ always exceeds my expectations! I love the fact that the owner dedicated this restaurant to his late sister who passed from breast cancer. The food and portion sizes are overly filling, and not only that, the sauce is tasty!! I recommend the ribs, collard greens, and of course the macaroni and cheese, as well as other menu items. I will be returning as this is the ONLY place I eat ribs from!!

I’ve been wanting BBQ for a long time and now that I’ve got it I couldn’t wait to eat it. It satisfied every piece of my tummy everything was delicious from the ribs, chicken, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, collard greens, potato salad and banana pudding. Even the bread was fresh and the soda that came with the dinner was nice and cold . Thank you J Sapp for satisfying my cravings. If y’all haven’t had yourself some Fatty’s go on down to846 49th St So it’s worth every penny.

Pitmaster level ribs, excellent crust yet juicy on the inside. Perfect bite while still being very tender without being fall off the bone. Ribs could use a little more smoke flavor but that’s my Texas bias.

As u walk in. The staff is kind very helpful as this was my first time ordering. I got Robb’s as unfortunately for me the chicken was going to take longer then I had to wait. The food is delicious a must try if u love BBQ as I do. Very generous portions. It will fill u up. Fattys is a great place with great food and lovely people. Do ur self the favor of stopping in.

We were in the area for another appointment and decided to stop in and grab some BBQ while we were waiting. The staff and owner were very friendly and offered me a water while I waited. We ordered chopped beef ($12 for 12oz) because they did not have brisket and we ordered the pork ($10 for 12oz). We asked for the sauce on the side since we weren’t sure which one we would like and headed home. Unfortunately when we got home we didn’t have any sauce. This was disappointing because that’s a huge part of a great BBQ experience. The pork was also chopped but I was expecting pulled pork. We did not have any sauce at home so we ate the meat dry which was disappointing. The meat did have a nice smoked flavor and it would have probably received 5 stars if we had sauce.
