We ‘asked a local’ where the best lunch place was in aka Grange and were told to check out Fat Daddy’s. The food and service were fantastic and we are very glad to found them.

I’ve been seeing this place for quite some time, but just never stopped in. Can I say my delay was a mistake. We walked in to a warm personable welcoming greet. The host/cashier (who is either the owner, or the owners son, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about menu items. We had the following

This is a nice little mom and pop sandwich shop. I had the Italian half sandwich and it was really good with great flavor and very filling. The fries were good and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend stopping in and checking this place out if you’re in the area.

Do not live in LA Grange but I have heard alot about Fat Daddys being a great place to eat…was eager to try it..went twice at tge wrong time in different trips to find it closed…bummer. Ifound it open today and it was pretty steady customer trafic..we stood in line waited patiently for our turn..ordered tge daily special..a teriyaki pork belly …and a prosciutto and fig…it was definitely worth every second of waiting..it was fresh and delicious. But if I could do more than 5 stars I definitely would..it was incredible ly delicious

I don’t leave rave reviews often. I went here for the first time today, ordered the fat daddy sandwich to split with my husband. It was absolutely phenomenal. The bread was thinner than most subs, but substantial enough to hold everything together so you don’t get a mouthful of bread, you get a crispy flavorful outer layer absolutely packed with meat. We got the hot pepper salsa on it, I mean holy cow yall it was better than any of the other sandwich joints around. I love that it’s low key, tucked away, and the first thing I saw coming in was a mix of classic rock posters and kids drawings on the walls. The owner puts thought into every aspect of your taste buds, and as we were wrapping up our lunch he came out to wipe down tables and clean, asking us how we enjoyed our meal. That kind of attention and care for his own restaurant, and customer service takes commitment. I was full, but didn’t feel gross. High praise, much deserved.

We always enjoy the food. My husband comes in weekly for the Fatdaddys sub. The owners are very kind and accommodating towards their costumers. I definitely recommend Fatdaddys.

I kind of stumbled up on this sandwich shop recently. I don’t live, but work in LaGrange. I had never been here and when I looked at the menu, they had several sandwiches that had house names with out descriptions of what was on those sandwiches. Because the place was busy, I didn’t want to hold up the line asking what was on each sandwich. I ended up picking a toasted steak and mushroom sandwich. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit over priced and slow to come out. Not a good place for me to eat on my lunch break.

This is the best place for quality sandwiches in the area. I definitely recommend this place. Try the fatdaddy sub with spicy relish. You won’t regret it.
