During an event I attended at the Indianapolis I opted to eat at the Fat Rooster Diner since I would not have time to eat until later in the evening. Although the price of the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, it was amazing. The food was so fresh and delicious that I chose to eat there the following morning as well. There was a wonderful mixture of hearty oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruits, protein meats/eggs, bread products….by far the best breakfast offering I have ever eaten while traveling.

I was hopping for a breakfast. It was only doing buffet. It’s in a building with a hotel so I guess that should be anticipated.

Everything was excellent except this is not a true diner. Diner’s don’t stop serving breakfast, ever…. This place stops breakfast at 11. So be aware if you sleep in a come down from your hotel thinking about this place for brunch. Go somewhere else apparently there’s a place across the street from the hotel good for brunch that serves breakfast /brunch until close.

Food was way overpriced. Paid $30 for a Prime rib sandwich that was very dry. I’m not sure this place will be there long.

Do not go here. I spent $30 per person on the smallest breakfast buffet i have seen in my life. Would give 0 stars if possible. Went for breakfast because menu online looked good. Waited 35 minutes for a table for two and then were not given menus and told to “go to the buffet.” It felt like we had stumbled into a complementary hotel breakfast and we were very confused the whole time about whether or not we were actually in a restaurant. We went to check out the buffet anyway bc we were very hungry and it literally just had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and potatoes (and an omelette station) with absolutely no bread, no condiments, nothing. And all of the listed items were lukewarm. Since we were hungry we ate anyway and when it came time to pay the bill was $30 dollars a piece. This price was not communicated to us at any time prior to being served (if you can even call it service). Extremely disappointing breakfast.

Food was very good and had a very fresh flavor. The restaurant was super clean. Staff was very friendly, although I think they may be understaffed. We had to wait awhile to be seated. We would definitely stop again on a future trip.

The vibes at this place are seriously off. It felt like a poor simulation of a diner with royalty free spa music in the background or a front for something else. Our serving team fought over our service and our food was delayed. A member of our party had his coffee cup taken away after ordering coffee. Again the vibes are off and I would rather eat at the vending kiosk (also branded as a diner) in the plaza.
