Visited on a Friday morning. Street parking was not a problem with several spots nearby open. Dining room is small and was at about 85% capacity, staff seemed to used to this level and kept up with everyone well. Prices are right in the zone I would expect for a dine in breakfast place and the food quality was excellent. Portions were very good and IMHO the value for the $$$ is excellent here.

The feel of this little hole in the wall diner is so personal and cute, and the chefs are absolute masters of their craft. Good luck choosing from the absolutely mouthwatering menu. It is small & intimate, so you can easily talk with the owners and waitstaff.

Sweet hole in the wall with a small but good menu. The french toast looked fab but I had opted for the hash will have to try next time portions are large. Coffee is strong and yummy. My only complaint was my hash wasnt very warm.

This place is worth the drive, any extra minute looking for parking or any wait. It is THAT good! The food options are creative, delicious, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. If you can arrive right at 8am to avoid a wait.

Fat dog is a MUST when in Dover for brunch or breakfast. It is a small restaurant with both indoor and some outdoor seating. Seating is first come, first serve, and you’ll want to catch someone at the counter to be seated or get on the list. Specials in many restaurants can be hit or miss, especially for breakfast, but at Fat Dog, they are a must for at least one in your party. The second must is their cream cheese cinnamon rolls, which tend to sell out fast. On this day, 2 of our 3 party got the southwest brunch bowl with poblano, black beans, home fries, 2 poached eggs, crispy onion straws, cheddar jack, and chorizo with chipotle sauce and avocado crema. The last of our party got the Mifflin, a maple hollandaise over poached egg and BBQ pulled pork all on top of a waffle with home fries on the side. Simply amazing! Fat Dog is a must for the start of your adventure day as well as entertaining out of towners. If you don’t have time to sit you can also order to go!

Very cute spot and delicious food. We got the Danny boy burrito and the Boo, both were amazing and great portions, I think the Boo is slightly better. Then we got the fat elvis it was very good as well

We had a little bit of a wait, like 20 minutes. It is a small place. But I’d wait over an hour for this place. My first bite I moaned omg out loud and I still felt that way on my last bite. The food was amazing, the staff was great. The atmosphere was fun.

Several years ago we started coming to Fat Dog and loved it. We’ve recommended it to many people over the years. Admittedly we haven’t been in a while, and we were very sad to learn that the red flannel hash has been taken off the menu. It was one of my favorite items since I can’t eat potatoes. Folks working there are still nice, portions are still very large, just fewer options for me to enjoy. ☹️. I do hope you reconsider bringing back the beets in your hash instead of potatoes.

Was there with my partner, and we both ordered the 2 Eggs with Corned Beef Hash and Home Fries with Pancakes. Everything was superb, from the service, to the food, and the decor. VERY intimate spacing in the dining room. May be a potential issue for large parties, but with the wait. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our experience at The Fat Dog Kitchen, would surely return in the near future.
