Amazing place to eat. The best bbq brisket I’ve ever had. The sides are top notch and you get a TON of food. Banana pudding is a must have also. Staff is very nice. We have been a few times and always talk with the owner and learn new things about the area. I only took one picture and it was a meal my wife and I split so it’s only half of the amount that’s normally on one plate. Best place in town!

This is a nice little restaurant in historic downtown St. Paul. Great place to stop after some hiking or floating the Clinch River. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. The BBQ was tasty and the service was quick. Definitely need to give them a visit.

Wow. That is how I would describe this place. The food is awesome, you have to go here if you are in town. Jeff Boothe the owner was super, he sat out with us between customers and made us all feel at home. I had the Heart Attack Baked Potato with BBQ and baked beans. It is incredible. My wife had BBQ Chicken Sandwich, baked beans and potato salad. We then had banana pudding. His employee that took our order has been there 1 day less than him. She was super attentive to us as well. It is a place that when you leave you feel like you have known them for a long time. Jeff thank you for the experience!!

Loved this place! Absolutely delicious food with attentive service and kind folks all around. Chicken bbq was delicious, not dry like a lot of places; didn’t even need any extra sauce! And the homemade banana pudding was worth every spoonful of stuffing myself after the massive meal (I got the Mac Daddy which is a mountain of bbq and Mac and cheese on top of a loaded baked potato). If ever in the area again, you best believe we’re coming back!

THE GOOD: Unbelievable…just everything we had – and we tried almost all of it over the course of 2 meals. The meats are smoked right behind the place, daily, and tended to constantly. Smoky, moist, textured deliciousness. The sides [faints] are unbelievably good…everything…just pick one and enjoy. Hands-down the best potatoe salad i’ve ever had, and I’d tell my mother that b/c she would agree. Great, great staff – Great, great atmosphere – Great, great ownership – Clean establishment – Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given on a google review.

Stopped on our way home from Salem NC. Wanted something local and Fatboys BBQ did not disappoint! We both had the Heart Attack in a bowl and couldn’t stop eating. The staff were so friendly and took time to explain the menu and talk a bit.

Loved this place! Super friendly staff. The sweet tea is the best I’ve had in SW Virginia. The ribs fall right off the bone. All of the sides we had were amazing too, Mac and cheese, cole slaw, and potato salad. They also make a fantastic brisket sandwich. Check them out!
