Wendy wonderful server, this restaurant is the place to have breakfast it’s 10 minutes from julian CA. Very decent prices very vast portions , I do recommend order to share. Amazing coffee, delicious food, and we also notic3d they served fancy mimosas….

Great Breakfast place in Julian,CA. First time here, the day before I was next door by the pie place and smelled bacon and I was ‘I’m going there tomorrow!’ Glad I did. Atmosphere was really nice.., food was not only good tasting but the overall look of it made you hungry. Restrooms were clean and very nice looking.

AMAZING FOOD!! Great service! The place is SOOO CUTE! Love the rustic feel! Food is in LARGE portions so you should probably share with someone . We went on Mother’s Day and they gave the mothers FREE MIMOSAS!! They are the sweetest!!

We drove out to Santa Ysabel today just to have lunch at Farmhouse 78 again! We are big fans from San Diego. The Farmhouse Burger and The Reuben were simply delicious. And I love the baked potato salad! The staff was friendly and given we wanted to sit outside in the shade (it was a hot day) they made sure we had plenty of beverages and they brought a big bowl of water out for Sophie, our dog child. We keep coming back because it’s all consistently awesome!

We came on a Saturday morning for a late breakfast. They were short handed – only 1 server for the entire dining room. But you’d never have known it – Wendy was amazing and managed the entire front of house with ease. The staff supported her at every step and was amazing. And the food came out fast and was soooo good! Highly recommend the topless mimosas. The house jam is stellar too. Awesome team, great experience!

Taking a Fall drive through the Laguna Mountains, we planned to grab a bite to eat in Julian. Unfortunately, on the weekends, Julian is insanely crowded so we opted to continue to Santa Ysabel. So glad we did because I discovered Farmhouse 78, a most excellent restaurant! The food is awesome and the service is very good. The pricing is reasonable and the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. I had the Reuben sandwich and my sons selected from their variety of burgers. They also have a full menu of other comfort foods. I highly recommend…

On the way to Julian, CA., I’ve always passed by this unsuspecting little restaurant on the corner Hwy 78 and Hwy 79 intersection. (To be honest, we should stop at this corner to go to the Julian pie shop and just overlook this restaurant, BUT NOT NO MO!!).
