We had lunch here to take a break from gambling. The food was pricy and the salad I ordered came with very old berries. I had to request the chicken for my salad after it came out. Mind you the word chicken is the second ingredient in the menu items name. The staff takes long breaks, disappears and treats you like you are an inconvenience in their day. We used to come here when it was Isle of Capri. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Ordered Caesar salads with grilled chicken. The chicken was cooked but not grilled and cold. Sent the chicken back and just didn’t want to be charged the extra for the “grilled” chicken.

The food was to be expected from a casino. Perfectly adequate but asked to put on the NFL playoff game so I could watch how my bet played out. Manager would not turn channel and even claimed game was on Amazon. Apparently watching a man bleed to death on network TV is what he thinks his customers want.

The food is actually really decent. Great selection and a lot of variety. One of the better phos at the buffets in the area. Crab legs are always fresh and delicious as well. This is a little pricier than others in the area and also we have been a few times within the past year and every time we have been given a military discount as most of our family has served and today they did not honor it and denied ever having such a promotion.

Went here for breakfast on our first day in Blackhawk and the coffee tasted funny. Wasn’t very good. But the chicken fried stake is very good and the potatoes also. Only took about 15-20 minutes to get food for 5 people. But when it was time to pay it took longer to get out checks separated than to get our food because the guy brought our ticket out all together when we told him at the beginning we were separate tickets. Then we had 25$ off and gave him our Caesar’s rewards card for the 25$ off and he took it to 100% off only at the cost of ALL of our rewards points.

Weekends are extremely busy, and the wait can be long, especially when you’re hungry, but they do their best to keep up with demand and picky and messy diners (who are most times already frustrated because they’ve lost at the casino). Food selection is average and of decent quality. Staff and cooks are always nice. Come on a weeknight when it’s not so busy —I did and had so many fresh crab legs and so much Prime rib to myself! This is what makes the price worth it.

Terrible! We had doubts to begin with so we ordered breakfast and a sandwich, two things that are very hard to get wrong. Eggs tasted like old crab meat, fries tasted like old fryer oil. Toast was burnt with no butter. I’m gonna be mad if I get sick. Our waiter was trying to hurry at least. But they brought the breakfast plate out and then I waited 15 minutes for my sandwich. I won’t be back. Ever.

Ordered prime rib. They asked how I wanted it cooked. That should have been the first indication that it wasn’t going to come out right. I got the meat and it was seared on one side but still completely raw in the center. I asked the waitress about this and she said that it was not pan seared but that it did look odd. She was arguing with me about the meat not being seared, but as you can see in the photos it was. I would not recommend this place as they do not know how to cook a staple dish.

Great food tonight. The crab legs were cooked just right. They could have more choices on the desserts and the icecream machine wasn’t working today.
