We had our first wonderful lunch there today: fresh fried fish and chicken, with sides of butter beans and fried okra (lots of sides to choose from). We stopped on our way from Emerald Isle to Raleigh via Hwy 58. Clean, efficient and friendly also. Glad we decided to go in today. We will stop regularly in the future. It’s small and understated from the outside but a real find!

Decent little place. I ordered chicken tenders, and they were perfectly cooked. My husband got a cheeseburger and said it was really good and not dry. I did not like the mashed potatoes, as they tasted a little sweet. However, my 18 mo. old grandson thought they were delicious. The hotdogs and fries were also quite tasty.

Always the friendly place! I love their Fish and Chips! Love the Nana pudding! Anything that I have ordered from their is good! I haven’t tried their pizza yet! During the week it’s a good place to get a quick lunch! It’s buffet style! Good eating!!!

We ordered a pizza to pick up and when we went to collect it the pizza was behind the register and ready for pick up. There was another person in line being helped and when I stepped forward, I was told, very rudely, to wait in the long line of people who were ordering their food. Our pizza was paid for and just needed to have a person hand us the box. I waited for almost 15 minutes while they prepared the other plates. There was no reason for the wait or the disrespect and rudeness. Will never go back since this was our 2nd time getting rude service.

I’m honestly surprised by all the good ratings. I must have shown up on a bad day. It looks nice from the outside so I stopped in to try. It was very smoky inside like the vents weren’t on. The food isn’t anything farm related. It’s like cafeteria food. The grapes they gave my kid had a strong perfume smell that went away some after I washed them off. I threw them away. The chicken fingers were old and rubbery. None of the food was fresh.

Very yummy breakfast sandwiches! The bun they are served on is like a mix of brioche and croissant. They used cheddar cheese and the eggs were cooked wonderfully. Worth the short wait and those pancakes are ridiculous!!
