Guys do not let the outside of the building deter you from trying Far East Chinese Restaurant on Clyde Park and 36th in Wyoming, MI. Man it is so good! Almond boneless served on a bed of iceberg lettuce. The egg rolls are mostly vegetables and not all cabbage. Just wonderful! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very attentive. We went at lunchtime and there was no one here! Please consider them for your next meal out!

I’ve been going to Far East for a few years now but never thought about giving a review until now. I think the food tastes great. The fried rice doesn’t look pale or uncooked like other places. The broccoli, the shrimp, the noodles, etc, all look and taste fresh. When driving there, If you don’t pay attention, you will pass it by.

Love their food and happy that they are open for indoor dining. They haven’t brought back the lunch buffet yet, but I think they do more take out than anything. The restaurant has a very dated atmosphere, but the food is on point. Husband had Egg Foo Yung, and I had Mongolian Chicken.

Ordered Sesame chicken and General Tso chicken. The meat in both was WAY over cooked. Was like chewing leather. Sad 1st experience with them. There won’t be a second.

Been coming here since I was in the womb, not an exaggeration. I grew up coming to Far East and it has been my favorite restaurant forever. The House Special Lo Mein is the best. I’ve never had it like this anywhere else. Even while eating my mom has said “I’ve been coming here for 27 years and it’s always been delicious.”

Good asian cuisine. Wr tried pho and hunan chicken which were great. Decent price, friendly service. The only complaint is that it took a long time for our food to come

First time eating here and we were left a little disappointed. We mainly came here for pho, but it was temporarily unavailable which broke my heart. Being viet, I ordered bun thit nuong like I usually do, the rest of my party ordered Chinese dishes. While I enjoyed my dish more than my party, I thought the fish sauce dressing tasted a little more sweet than usual. One member of my party who is whiter than marshmallow fluff, is a particular picky eater and couldn’t really hold down her food, but my kids seemed to enjoy most of their food. The atmosphere was nice and quiet and the server assisted us with whatever we needed. If they ever serve pho again, I probably would come here to try it, but other than that I think once is enough for me. Nothing wrong with the place or anything, I just think the food is a little too sweet for my viet taste.

Have gone here for many years. The food is excellent, service is very good, many precautions are taken for people’s health. You prepay & call upon arrival to ensure your food is ready, then pick your food up waiting in front of a screen(no contact) Not inexpensive but worth a special meal, good size proportions.
