I dont write the reviews for the restaurants but the service at this place forced me to write.

Wait staff is friendly. My go-to meal is the American breakfast w/Reindeer sausage. Not a fan of the salads but most other things are better. Picturesque view of the lake.

Perfect day to have a drink and lunch outside watching the seaplanes land and take-off. The reuben and club sandwiches were excellent! Plenty of outdoor seating, and they were quick to add more tables as needed.

The best place to have a drink or eat some amazing food in Anchorage. Beautiful views from big windows of the floatplanes landing and taking off. The staff is helpful and friendly, also did i mention the food is delicious?

You can’t beat the view here!! The food was pretty good but the service was definitely lacking.

Great view of the lake and you get to see all the planes taking off and landing.

Food was great. The calarmi was very good and I loved the candy salad so much that I ordered it both nights. We ate there twice for breakfast and twice for dinner during our 2 day stay at the hotel. The same lady server waited on us for breakfast and she was outstanding!!! A solid “ten”. She was super friendly and very attentive. We had 2 different servers for our 2 dinners and both times neither checked on us and I had to go track down the server after our 1st night dinner so that we could get our bill.

Good food, about average price for a hotel restaurant (probably overpriced by 10-15%, but after a long day of travelling, is acceptable). Service was exceptional the three times I/we ate here. Our waiter/waitress were all attentive, quick to refill an empty glass, and the kitchen was quick to get our orders out. The food was prepared reasonably well with one exception: the fish and chips were unusually greasy to the extent it really took away from the meal. The breakfast meals were great (I was traveling with a party, so we each got a different meal, no complaints to be had). The chicken Caesar wrap was very good, plenty of chicken and the Caesar dressing was not overpowering. In closing, I hope your dining experience is as good as mine was during our stay.

Waited about 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order. Funny, the two single guys got help immediately. Food and drinks. When they left, she got a $5.00 tip. Regardless of our not good service, hubster and I left $15.00 tip on a $65.00 bill. Servers be aware of who tips. Us OGs ( old geysers) pay good for good service.
